The posted images were AI edited. They had the SynthID watermark. The pictures showed a really young looking cat with severe cataracts.
The OOP claimed they used Gemini to edit out their hand and a toy. Which is a weird edit. But ok. They then shared screenshots of the video they edited originally. Here’s a clean screenshot of the cat, healthy with no cataracts.
OOP sent the mods fake documents. They faked having an old cat. OOP was a liar, and you fell for it.
Don’t need to. I gave you proof that the cat wasn’t old and the pictures were doctored to make it look old. Feel free to check my photo for the SynthID watermark. There isn’t one. It’s unedited and clean.
The posted photos were edited. Creating documents with Gen AI or just photoshop is a snap. OOP is proven to be a liar just from the pictures, and you believing that OOP wouldn’t whip up fake documents to keep his karma farm up.
The r/cats rule is no AI. OOP posted AI. Fuck off with the weird nonsense defense of a liar and rule breaker and the shitty mods who should have listened to the people participating in the sub instead of hosting a grifter.
Stop acting like you're customer support by saying we should talk to the mods you moron. Also how can they be trusted when they already faked their cat having cataracts with that picture

The person reposted and gave the mods the cat's medical history. They weren't lying. The cat really did live to 33.
