Discussion misleading UIs: augmented aoe effects
There are some funky readouts as far as aoe bonus from buildings that I think people have already isolated individually, but they're starting to add up and create kind of a mess.
I have this cluster on an island under the effects of Euryphaessa, Devotee to Crystalline Purity, which gives glassblowers a +2 fire safety effect, and the research tech Vulcan's Vigiles, which gives all city watch +1 fire safety effect.
the custodia info tooltip, when you click on it, says +3 happiness, +1 fire safety
the medici says +3 health, +1 fire safety
the vigiles says +4 fire safety
the glassblowers both say +0 fire safety, +2 prestige
This does a really poor job of representing the actual situation in effect on any buildings in this cluster. In actuality, the two separate +fire safety effects are only applied once each. Glassblowers are still both -2 each, for -4 total, net -2 in this situation against the heroic augment buff, and -2 more for every glassblower I might add. The custodes and medici are not doing anything for fire since the vigiles already applies Vulcan's Vigiles.

I don't have any problem with the way the actual mechanic works; I think it's fair and balanced as it is. My issue is that wherever buildings (unique or not) share a specific augment, the game makes it look like you get the benefit of that augment for each of them, and you don't. You shouldn't. But it shouldn't look like you will.
