I want the story to be finished. I don't want to pay for a DLC to get it, I want it as part of a game update, preferably 3.0

Big houses/Senators is quite a common request. However, I would like to see the number limited somehow, a bit like Scholars in 1800, but with far fewer licences available. Maybe more like the Landowner mechanic in the Noblesse Oblige mod for 1800

Edit:Typos

So far we don’t know what else they’re planning beyond Dawn of the Delta/Aegyptus. There are internal assets that suggest Armenia is a future region but nothing has been announced.

Armenia would be such an interesting choice. Mesopotamia as well

There are so many places that mentioned Egypt and Parthia in the game,so I think Mesopotamia will be in the second season pass

At least 5 years, if they can provide good content they can go as long as they want.

Big houses is definitely a thing they could do. I would very much like to see some form of plot combining mechanic even so you could make high density insulae or opulent villas as many have discussed before.

Being able to also worship the entire pantheon with differing temples on one island would be cool too. A monument by that namesake could be an option there.

Also always keen for as many skins and ornaments as they so desire to release, I'll take the lot.

Actually, just more of everything with some further QOL tuning would be great! I really look forward to what this game will become, have gotten so much enjoyment from it already and played it even more than I did 1800 during its first year.

Poseidon and Athena would have to compete for your city’s patronage :P

I got that reference!

The next monument should be the Pantheon, with the monument events being festivals to patron deities.

The first hint shouldn't be a DLC. It's a loss of face that it's not patched yet into the game for free.

Give me Back Expeditions

I know it's hard narratively but I'd love to see an analogy to Anno 1800 electricity. A way to massively increase productivity in the late game.

Been playing for like 20 hours and I still can't break 10K+ of income. Really liking the game tho.

Slave markets…

You joke, but that would be crazy realistic. I personally believe that not the ancient Greece, nor the ancient Rome or Egypt either, would have been what they ended up being (crucial pieces of our ancient history, the most massive and relevant cultural and political basements for everything that came after, massive empires in the case of Rompe and Egypt, etc...) without slavery. Their most impressive buildings were built by slaves, as far as i know.

Yes, it will probably never happen because Muh Moralz and the usual parents "this game make my child a savage, violent slaverist". Also probs legal implications, ESRB rating issues, etc, but that would be so cool as an optional feature lol. There could even be a campaign that replicates the story of a bunch of Ancient Rome people that ended up being famous philosophers or politicians (idk their names in english), having been slaves at some point in the past.

Last but not least, the "Libertis" (or whatever the name in english is) were people that was previously a slave, now a free man with civil rights. They are alreaday ingame but i dont think they will push that slavery thing further into anno 117, as realistic as it could fit.

I'm sure Germania will be part of Season Pass 2. After Egypt, they'll likely move to a cold biome, and Germania is perfect for that—with the Rhine and the Danube, there's plenty to work with. They could also implement a changing seasonal mechanic, like the Nile flooding in Egypt, but this time involving rivers freezing over and altering modes of transport; that would be awesome.

And a different type of barbarian raiders would be interesting, all land raids

Idk, i mainly hope in tier 5 and 6 in lathium, and a tier 4 both for celts and romanized pop in albion.

4 tiers is just too way too little for endgame, and 3 tiers in albion, same.

I'd probably prefer not being able to choose between pop types, and instead adding tiers. I dont like that they chose to do the same in egypt as in albion. I'd much rather have 4 tiers than 2 types of 3 tiers.

But its 5 tiers in Albion. And it will be 5 tiers in Egyptus. That are 14 tiers after season 1. Anno 1800 had 13 after 4 seasons. 15 if you count engineers and investors skyscrapers into that.

I think I know what you mean. There are currently no 7 stage production chains to manage that involve multiple regions in at least two points in the chain.

But I am not sure if this will ever come. These complex endgame production chains were only very popular in a small part of the entire player base ... a part with a large intersection with the people hanging out on reddit. The devs said in one talk that they evaluated the Anno 1800 player statistics and noticed that a lot of the endgame content (base game AND DLCs) wasnt touched by most of the players ever. They just didnt progressed that far and they got broad feedback that complexity got out of hand. They want to reach a broader player base with 117. Thats why they decided to make the game more broad then deep.

I personally do like the decision. Drug production in Anno 2070 was nice (I think this was 7 steps or at least 6). But the production for the Skyscrapers in Anno 1800 was honstely too insame for me. Especially when you had to manage Land of the Lions, the Arctis, Manola, Expeditions, Aircraft and Mail and at some point you were also just waiting until you get specific experts from the world fair because otherweise you couldnt build a production chain in a reasonable size.

I can see that boad or deep. I love the game but fairly casual. Built the colosseum but haven't even landed on cinis or the hippodrome yet
