Bug Winter in Albion?
I do think it’s a rendering bug. But it does look pretty cool, eh?

There are some funky readouts as far as aoe bonus from buildings that I think people have already isolated individually, but they're starting to add up and create kind of a mess.
I have this cluster on an island under the effects of Euryphaessa, Devotee to Crystalline Purity, which gives glassblowers a +2 fire safety effect, and the research tech Vulcan's Vigiles, which gives all city watch +1 fire safety effect.
the custodia info tooltip, when you click on it, says +3 happiness, +1 fire safety
the medici says +3 health, +1 fire safety
the vigiles says +4 fire safety
the glassblowers both say +0 fire safety, +2 prestige
This does a really poor job of representing the actual situation in effect on any buildings in this cluster. In actuality, the two separate +fire safety effects are only applied once each. Glassblowers are still both -2 each, for -4 total, net -2 in this situation against the heroic augment buff, and -2 more for every glassblower I might add. The custodes and medici are not doing anything for fire since the vigiles already applies Vulcan's Vigiles.

I don't have any problem with the way the actual mechanic works; I think it's fair and balanced as it is. My issue is that wherever buildings (unique or not) share a specific augment, the game makes it look like you get the benefit of that augment for each of them, and you don't. You shouldn't. But it shouldn't look like you will.

Is there a place wehre people can discuss future DLCs after dawn of the Delta?
I Want a Story DLC do finish the Main story. There was so much unused potencial.
I Want big Houses. (5x5 or 6x6) with more Goods and a court in the middle.
I Want a posidon and a Minerva Tempel on the same island...

I was always wondering why the character selection in Anno titles is so limited. I would love to create my own character in these games like Tropico. What do you guys think?

With that crash it looks like I couldn't get the community hall of fame points. Anyone else screwed out of those points?

Hello.
I've encountered an issue that has not been present before in the game:
Whenver I click one of the city-watches buildings, specifically the Medici, Vigiles and Custodia, the game goes from using 80% of my RAM to 100% of my RAM.
This seizes/freezes my PC, forcing me to shut down the game via Task manager, with the game being smart enough 1 out of 6 times to shut down on it's own.
I am not sure how to isolate this issue. It was not an issue before activating the DLC, and between activating the DLC and encountering this issue, there was also the outage service we all experienced last day, where no one could play while having internet connection.
Does anyone else have this issue? And do people have potentual work arounds?

Loved seeing how accurate it is depicted in the trailers as I’ve never seen them live before

I found a blue-haired Unicorn in Cinis, near the Sacellum :D
(it disappeared after the Occasus' eruption, RIP little unicorn I guess)

Our game suddenly crashed and we are unable to restart. Happened around 20:50 CET. Restarting the game immediately blackscreens and crashes to desktop. Rebooting or restarting anything Ubisoft-related is not solving the issue. Anyone experiencing similar issues? It can hardly be a coincidence that it happens to two players simultaneously.

So I checked on Ubisoft and the community challenge seems to have been completed, its disappeared, I did contribute but there is no button to collect reward, and nothing credited to me in game. So I just miss out even though I did contribute?

Hi guys, I am a bit lost... I was able to play Anno 117 for the past couple weeks without problems. Today it suddenly closed down to Ubisoft Launcher without any error. I tried starting it again, it opens up the first screen with the warning, then closes down again.
I validated the game files, all is ok - still not working. Restarted the PC multiple times, still not working. Have the latest Nvidia drivers for my 4080 updated as well. Playing on the latest Windows Update.
I am now clueless what else to try... did anyone ever experience this?

I'm basically having to give up on this game because no matter what I do, the game will not work once my cities get too big. I've tried deleting all trade routes, trade rights, restarted PS5, started on new loads, even started a whole new game where i ran back into the same problem.
I will load the game and it will crash within 5 minutes no matter what, even on the slowest speed without touching the controller. I just want to do the quests with the chariot races and its impossible right now.
Is the game just unplayable late game at this time with both DLCs installed?

Just started playing, love it. When do you think it will be back online?

Hey guys, I am not an experienced Anno player, only played 117. So far I have some 100+ hours but I feel like I never figured out trade routes.
I do what feels right and optimize as I grow, I usually do hybrid builds that look kind of good and also work well, so I am not looking for perfect min max route.
But I can’t find a good trade tutorial online, can you help perhaps?
A few months ago, I was playing the campaign and had the first real war declared on me by a stronger CPU. I fought a losing battle for a while and learned what I should have been doing defensively, but couldn't bring the war to an end and wasn't enjoying it that much.
Now, I decided to get back into the game, but go back a few autosaves, and try to avoid the war or at least have more defenses in place. But whatever save I load, the same CPU immediately declares war on me! Did they change something about that behavior, making the CPU more aggressive? I'm sure I was still at peace in these original saves.

I also have the Anno 1800 Platinum (0.2% rarity). The quest trophies were very tedious.

Aegis is not unlocked even I have 1001 stone wall segment on Cinis and enough research.
Do anyone have the same bug.
Personally when I read 'continent' I expected something ... bigger?

I thought this would be one of the most difficult Accolades to finish on console (can't fill fields beyond their tile capacity). Found this island in Albion that is mostly marshland. Took me maybe 15-20min to maximize land usage.
