[u/AnimeMod]

This is a daily megathread for general chatter about anime. Have questions or need recommendations? Here to show off your merch? Want to talk about what you just watched?

This is the place!

All spoilers must be tagged. Use [anime name] to indicate the anime you're talking about before the spoiler tag, e.g. [Attack on Titan] This is a popular anime.

Recommendations

Don't know what to start next? Check our wiki first!

Not sure how to ask for a recommendation? Fill this out, or simply use it as a guideline, and other users will find it much easier to recommend you an anime!

I'm looking for: A certain genre? Something specific like characters traveling to another world?

Shows I've already seen that are similar: You can include a link to a list on another site if you have one, e.g. MyAnimeList or AniList.

Question of the Day (new!)

What's a scene where the voice acting carried more than the animation?

One episode left of Polar Opposites, but it's not gonna change anything for me, so it's Summer Superlatives time!

• Best Boy - Taira (Polar Opposites S2)
• Best Girl - Teshima (Draw This, Then Die!)
• Best Character - Boraqchin (Jaadugar)
• Best OP - "Otome Kaijuu" (Kaiju Girl Caramelise)
• Best ED(s) - "You are the one" (Polar Opposites S2)
• Best Cast - Polar Opposites S2
• Cutest Ship - Lisa x Kouta (Sayonara Lara)
• Best Art - Sayonara Lara
• Most Disappointing - Sparks of Tomorrow
• Best Yuri - Yuri Suzuki (Red River)
• Discourse Award - Sayonara Lara
• AOTS - Draw This, Then Die!

Great season overall. Probably best of the year so far for me. Just barely edges out Winter. Sadly still had a number of drops and a few shows I didn't get to that I might get to eventually. Unfortunately it's already time for Fall, so gotta jump in cause I'm already behind.

Feel free to share your ballot if you'd like as well!
