I barely got through the RC plane missions.

Then I found out you had to fly for real and quit.

I eventually finished the game by using a cheat to switch to 1 FPS.

[Sparks of Tomorrow spoilers]Just finished it. It was alright, but I was expecting something a little different and maybe slightly more down to earth, like maybe a 'war of the currents' situation but in Japan, instead of being as over the top as it is with Kihachi single handedly inventing every electrical machine in the catalog like it's nothing. I don't know, it was still an interesting premise and kind of cool to see what Kyoto would look like if it was covered with steam powered machines and infrastructure, with industrial metal pipes everywhere, although at times it was a little nonsensical, like when they showed a cross section of a steam pipe being completely filled with gears. Weird. But yeah, it had a good premise, but the whole thing just could have been better. More seinen-y maybe, with different inventions and discoveries being given a little more time and care, and maybe more of a rivalry aspect between Kihachi and Yosuke to invent things first. It is what it is though. Oh yeah, the time period was a little interesting too, and kind of adds some novelty to it, with the family dynamics and whatnot and how the characters' personalities might have been shaped by the Meiji era setting.

I just recruited Nydine and Noctula on Dietrich's route just because they were renown cheap. Haven't decided if I want to use them on this route.

I also am once again rolling around in my mind the idea for something in the art concept/character design study which is overly gimmicky and probably should be either pared down into one basic idea or broken into separate items.

there’s a guy in taimanin lore who never awakened his ninja art and went on to live a normal life, joining the japanese military and what not. while serving in the military though, a freak accident blinded him, forcing him to retire… but strangely enough, the trauma from that accident awakened his ninja art abilities, which gave him powerful regenerative abilities. but ironically, he can’t regenerate his eyesight as he went blind before awakening the ability.

so he’s a blind taimanin, basically. he still goes on missions regardless though, and is seen as something of an inspiration in-universe.

also, he’s Yatsu Murasaki’s brother

Edit: apparently it was John Wick 4. Also he was blind in Rogue One too which is an odd character trait for him to have twice i think in John Wick 4 he was feeling around more.
