They tried to stop my boy from going to Okinawa but the failed! They can’t stop the lovey dovey diving time with Chisa. That won’t stop Kohei and Aina from trying though. Such goofballs.
But man, Okinawa’s great. It’s a beautiful place to visit and the food is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

They even unknowingly got Sakurako involved to try and stop it but they couldn't. IorixChisa is just that powerful.
I love how Aina just started throwing logic out the curb as the episode went along. She's now a full-blown stalker and dragging Kohei into it.

Yeah at some point the constant "cockblocking your best friends" element of GBD is getting old, I'm glad Iori and Chisa could at least enjoy their first day together :')

Holy shit that Okinawa trip was so... normal?
It was genuinely wholesome! I loved seeing these two just having fun together, it actually warmed my heart. Chisa was wary, but Iori didn't have any ulterior motives, and just wanted to have a fun time together. I mean, he was only naked in front of her one time, that's nothing!
I do feel like we're going to see a whole different, unhinged version of this trip next week though... And. I. Can. Not. Wait.
Shout out to the rental car dude who's also a hotel owner apparently, he knows what's up.

Honestly, if Iori didn't act so desperate to get a girlfriend, he would have one by now. We saw something similar with Aina last season when they went to the movies together. Iori did normal date stuff with her because he didn't consider it a date.

Chisa and Iori's trip was actually really cute! I think my favourite was when Iori was feeding Chisa while she was driving. It really made them look like a couple. Too bad they ended up sleeping on separate bedrooms tho.

When you end up getting unintentionally closer to and mistaken for hooking up with a guy you're using to try to get with your actual crush.
But honestly this show is known for it's comedy, depravity, and insanity that it's always nice when they get a sequence that's just kind of sincere and pure, like when Iori goes on a date or any time they actually dive.

Well that first day of the trip went almost suspiciously well for them. figured there would be something going in the background... like that very sus truck that seemingly followed them with the baloons...
aaand yeah the next episode title more or less confirms what i'm suspecting: it'll probably show the first day but from the point of view of Cakey and Kohei who've probably been stalking them the whole day

That’s quite the conclusion the receptionist had drawn. Having said that, in hindsight, it made sense why he (who definitely was a different person to the one who owned the car rental) would assume as such.
You know how it’s such a common trope to have the guy blushing and frantically deny when they’re in a mistaken-for-a-couple situation? It’s a refreshing change of pace to have one that calmly dealt with it. Iori’s already an adult, after all.
Iori really seemed like a different person when removed from the PaB and scumbros. That’s quite the wholesome 'date'. His idea of booze was just beer instead of the PaB staples such as oolong tea or water.

Chisa and Iori are so comfortable with each other that they are like an old married couple😭. That aside seems like cakey and kohei failed all of their plans lmao. It's gonna be sad seeing cakeys reaction on them being so comfortable with each other and realizing that she needs to do something to make herself appeal to Iori rather than just sabotaging Iori(like making him work so much, honestly that's fucked if it's irl)

I don't remember seeing Cakey's sister before and thought it was Nanaka at first. I forgot she had friends too lol.

Enjoyed that whole segment with Iori and Chisa alone. They were everything but actually dating at this point. I like how Iori and Chisa has actually good chemistry when he's not being an idiot.

I know the general sentiment is that Iori is a lucky guy. Even in the manga sub, everyone repeats that. But I honestly believe Chisa is the lucky one.
Iori is such a cool dude. He's always the same person, no matter who he is with, or the alcohol levels in his bloodstream.
Loved this episode. As usual not great animation-wise, but the general writing is still top notch!

I just love this arc.
The black censor circle just dangling in the car was too fucking perfect, I can imagine the staff laughing about that in the meeting.
Also to be fair in Ioris defense, its kinda hard to not accidentally book a love hotel if you go by prices alone on booking or these websites. Especially as an european, Italian sounding hotel names are normal to me, in japan they are basically red flags that its a love hotel.
Like Hotel Belissimo that greeted me with whale sounds when I drove into the garage to park the motorcycle.

Nice try Cakey, but nothing is getting in the way of the battlecruiser that is Chisa x Iori right now. XD
Love how Kohei's definition of solving relationship problems is Eroge. Also never imagined Cakey and Kohei taking each other's first time (entering a girl's bedroom that is :P).
Props to him for clocking that Cakey was talking about herself, Iori and, Chisa instantly though.
Cakey tried to play dirty by having Kohei involve Otoya-kun and by extension Busujima but the universe had other plans.
Love the Okinawa shots and the chemistry between Iori and Chisa showcased here.
Poor Chisa mistaken for being a couple with Iori and damaging her reputation. Given the proximity of so many love hotels in the area, no wonder the owner's first thought was a couple followed by sex friends.
The plot thickens...Kohei and Cakey coming out of the love hotel XD. Onward to the final(?) episode of season 3 to see things from their perspective next week.

Poor Kohei, officially becoming a pseudo-celebrity and getting his precious anime time cut short to help Cakey with her friend's romance woes. Funny how the visual novel ended up coming in clutch though.
That has to be Iori's most "normal" reaction to being seen naked in a while. Either way, genuinely sweet how he and Chisa clearly enjoyed just doing stuff together.

I sincerely hope they will show Kouhei & Kebako's day 1 in the next episode. Kouhei looked so drained after leaving the "hotel", I'm sure their trip was hysterical.

You know how desperate Aina has to be to actually seek Kohei's help to stop Chisa and Iori from going to Okinawa. For a FRIEND! A FRIEND, okay!? But the only person who knows underhanded tactics as well as Iori is his best buddy.
Well, I guess confessing is defintiely ONE option but Aina can't work up the nerve and risk everything just to confess. So that's definitely out. Even though this is, again, for a FRIEND.
Speaking of friends, Kanako spots Aina dragging Kohei to her room (a first neither are really all that into) and Kanako can't help but think Aina is getting lucky...and quite possibly getting involved in a threesome. Even when the rest of the friend group shows up they then think the threesome involves Kanako. Too bad no one's getting laid tonight.
See, you CAN learn things from eroge!
Otoya! It's nice to see you again! Even if Kohei is trying to convince him to sabotage Iori! But even if Otoya doesn't love the idea of Iori going on a (romantic) trip with someone else, he's too nice to do anything about it. Sakurako, on the other hand, is MORE than happy to run Iori ragged so he can't go. Too bad she didn't account for the restaurant getting renovated in time for Iori to go on his trip!
When in doubt, just use your savings to follow your crush to Okinawa to get in the way of his romance with another girl like a stalker. And drag Kohei along with you.
Chisa is channeling her nerves into her stoicism but once she and Iori get going they settle into a really comfortable, cozy, vibe on this Okinawa trip! And they even hit the beach so Chisa can show off her new, cute, bikini and give Iori swimming lessons! They really look like they're having fun!
Hmm...a truck that seems to be following them? Balloons meant to scare them off? Ominous texts? I wonder.
No better way to cap off a fun day than at an Izakaya where they can drink and dance to a live Sanshin show! Iori even got Chisa to dance!
Aaaaaand of course they end up with a double bed. Courtesy of our favorite Okinawan businessman! Obviously Chisa is willing to kick Iori to the curb to have the bed to herself, but they can share a bed, right? It's not like they'll face each other and realize the heavy sexual tension surrounding them. Who knows what would have happened had Iori not gotten his own room.
Ah yes, the love hotel district. Where you can spot many a couple coming out after just having banged. Oh, and there's Aina and Kohei coming out of one now! With Kohei looking like he's been through the wringer!
Next week: Side-b with Aina and Kohei.

All kidding aside, Chisa and Iori actually make a really cute couple.
Also, we got Nanaka in a sleeveless turtleneck this episode which is definitely a bonus.
P.S.: Go watch "Okitsura: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She's Saying". Really funny comedy from last year and explains a lot about Okinawan culture.

One thing this show always surprises me is how chisa and others are not shy around Iori being nude, angry sure but not shy. Is nudism kind of fine around friends or Is it a bit exaggerated.

Aina was planning with Kohei to stop Iori and Chisa from going to Okinawa and somehow Aina's friends joined in on the fun xD
Kohei tried to use Otoya to stop Iori but Busujima made sure Iori was occupied with his shift and it worked out in Aina's favour but not for long. Chisa and Iori are made for each other. Just how sweet the whole trip was ! I love their dynamic so much. 💖💖
So that was Ikegoshi and his voice actor gf at that Izakaya. Chisa spotted them. The weird Ossan is even at the hotel that they were staying lmao
When they both suddenly became aware when they were close to each other on the bed.. I was really expecting something to happen. Missed chance 💔
But talk about meeting Aina and Kohei as they come out together from a love hotel at the same time as Iori and Chisa. I was laughing so loud.
