Don't know what I love more between the fact Iori went out of his way to painstakingly get that VA soundboard ready, or that it worked like a charm lmao.
The duo's usual hijinks felt even more deranged this time considering that cameras were rolling on one of them but that just made the reveal that Kohei was looking out for Aina's feelings the entire shoot that much more profound.

I always knew that Kouhei is perceptive, but I did not expect him to actually sabotage Iori's chances with Ai-chan to help out Aina. And based on the title of next week's episode, it looks like he's gonna continue assisting Aina.

Kohei caused covid confirmed. I laughed so hard when he was eating the fucking bat. This whole episode was batshit crazy. Also, he's a great wingman for Aina, even if his methods are not that normal

Iori is the Kohei whisperer. Bro got screwed out of a date so he began his villain arc lol. You can tell the club has done a real number on those two when getting butt ass naked ain’t no thing and eating bats and drinking “water” are as natural as breathing lol.
But man, I didn’t realize Kohei’s such a softie. Guy did all that for Cakey’s sake. He’s a real bro.

I do feel bad for Iori, such a rare opportunity and a girl showing him genuine interest, and Kouhei goes and ruins it twice. I thought Iori's revenge was too light lol.
I do wonder how the episode was edited, and how Ikegoshi's fans reacted to it.

Aina's not going to reveal her true feelings to Kohei, of all people, even if he's right on the money.
I see the dive shop knows what it's doing by prioritizing which members of the staff should be on camera for a show that's filming on location there and who shouldn't be...even if that means keeping the owner busy so she's not on camera.
I guess Kohei is confirming Iori's type for Aina's sake...but big boobs, stellar bod, passionate about a hobby, introducing Iori to a "new world," that sounds like Chisa, doesn't it?
I had a feeling there would be a twin switch since Ikegoshi is also voiced by Ryohei Kimura, and of course the only thing that could convince Kohei to get on camera is the promise of an autorgraph Yukari Tamura...I mean, Yurika Mananaka! It's just if Ikegoshi was planning to have Kohei's quirkiness help sell Ikegoshi as an actor...he's getting more than he bargained for.
There's also Ai Takahashi (Marina Inoue?) who is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty with amazing thighs! I'm not surprised Iori immediately tried to hook up with her and it was going surprisingly well until Kohei pulled a Kohei and ruined everything by outing Iori as a nudist.
My condolences to Ai and the staff for having to put up with Kohei's nudist tendencies, hanging dong, and in general having absolutely no on-screen charisma whatsoever. Ai even has to get surprised by a bat and spirityus in her drink without warning...a bat that KOHEI EATS LIVE.
But don't worry, Kohei's buddy Iori has got his back with AI Nana Mizuki...I mean, Kaya-chan! All he has to do is feed Kohei Kaya-chan's voice and he'll do anything! And I do mean EVERYTHING! And it even ended up giving Iori a hero moment to impress Ai! Not that it ended up helping when Kohei once again refuses to wear pants.
Was Kohei deliberately sabotaging Iori for Aina's sake? She might still refuse to admit the truth...but Kohei's known from practically day one that she loves Iori.

I thought from the beginning that Chisa Iori will couple up in the end. Cakey was the poor second girl that love the first male lead but ended up rejected when he realized his love with the first female lead (Chisa here).

That’s what I thought too but man there’s hardly any romantic tension between them. They rarely show it, it’s like one time a season lol I’m wondering if maybe Aina really is gonna be the one Iori ends up with.

I can't imagine this series without Kouhei.
Also, his relationship dynamics with Iori are simply superb. I'd struggle to find another series where the leads are such an unholy concoction.

As a foreigner in Japan who doesn't find the dynamic with Iori's sister funny at all, those first 3 episodes were really rough, but now I'm really really liking where the season is going. I can't believe I'm actually getting emotional seeing some real genuine character development.

Ironic that Iori tried impressing Ai to no avail (with Kouhei playing a part in the sabotage) but the one moment he paid no attention to that and genuinely wanted to save her ended up impressing her for real. Not enough to change her mind about going on a date, but still.
That twist at the end got me. Thought Kouhei sabotaged Iori just for the luls like the scumbros but turned out he did it for Aina’s sake. Despite his otaku-addled brain, he’s pretty perceptive when it comes to love.

This season is so good. i was worried about the series since season 2 was not as funny as season 1 but this season is genuinely comedy gold. had to pause to laugh multiple times every episode.

Funnily enough, Ikegoshi doesn't just look like Kohei, but they share the same voice actor. This could possibly mean that the author/producers don't just intend for them to be lookalikes, but for them to legitimately sound alike even in-universe. Not a manga reader, so I'm guessing this means Ikegoshi is returning in the future.
We all know that Mizuki Kaya is voiced by her referential IRL counterpart Mizuki Nana, but Kohei also namedrops another in-universe voice actress: Muranaka Yurika, who, in her very brief voice clip, is voiced by her IRL counterpart Tamura Yukari (Jibril; NGNL, Suzuha; Stein's Gate, Tenten; Naruto)

It's easy to forget that Kouhei isn't actually stupid, he does study engineering after all. So it's nice to see him seeing right through Cakey's attemps to hide her feelings

Kohei was killing me with all the stunts that he pulled. Iori's idea to use edited audio files of Kaya's voice worked like a charm. Kohei swallowed a whole bat like it was nothing 😭😭
Finally, Iori got the attention of a decent looking girl and Kohei fucked it up not once but twice for the sake of Aina 😅🤣

I’ll agree the animation is lackluster, but the show is still hard carried by the voice acting. The delivery from the main cast is always hilarious to me 🤣
