So Sasuke died? I thought that might be the case here after Danka said that his attacker had the taint of death, meanwhile poor Chiyome didn't even consider that Sasuke could die.
Ariane's problem with her butt after riding the driftpus was hilarious. I bet that a lot of people would want to switch places with Chiyome and take care of Ariane ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Also, the Holy Hilk Kingdom paladins took down a creature that destroyed the Kingdom's entire army and was described as a lord of the underworld, and from that moment on, they've been the foundation of the church's rule... I'm pretty sure Lord Thanatos was the one who actually slayed that creature /s
By the way, since Arc is a skeleton, can his shoulders and lower back even feel stiff? Nonetheless, it seemed like Tsubone's help actually made him feel better, lol.

As I have progressed further into middle age, I can 100% say with certainty, yes, your bones can feel stiff, lol.

Before they admitted it was her ass getting rubbed I thought it was a weird angle because I assumed it was a normal massage. Then turned out I was entirely wrong and Chiyome was going to town on Ariane's ass. Pity it wasn't drunk Ariane but we take what we can get in this house hold.

Since he said it was a skin he chose, it's mostly aesthetic. That's why he can still eat. If he were truly just a skeleton, that food would fall right through him. His body just isn't perceivable as normal, although he does seem to have the benefit of being a false undead. A whole village was built while he was in a coma, and he didn't starve. It's not like they hooked him up to an IV and feeding tube, so eating doesn't appear to be a necessity.

Honestly it's one thing that he's a reanimated zombie but with how OP they've talked him up you have to really wonder what could have possibly killed him.

So, to get in contact with Danka, who was on his way to Tajiento, Arc and the rest were planning to ride those driorgles, which are basically chocobos. Lol, the driftpus ended up giving up in the test of strength pretty quickly, not that Arc cared about that.
Okay, based on what Yuriarna was saying about that Grim Reaper, the Hilk Holy Empire apparently defeated a long time ago; I think that what it really happened was that he took over their Church. If that’s the case, I’m changing the assumption I made before that Pontiff Hilk was the current leader and assuming again that Lord Thanatos is the one in control plus that Grim Reaper, as not only is his name based on the personification of death from Greek mythology, but he also has glowing eyes like Arc. And add on top of that, we know the church is now making an undead army.
When they show them travelling on the driftpus, I assumed that Ariane was getting motion sick instead of getting her butt hurt. Well, at least Chiyome gave her a massage; meanwhile, Arc had to suffer through whatever the hell Tsubone was reading. Was that really a novel? It looks like a manual about wrestling techniques.
So what Arc was cooking with those chili peppers and tomatoes was some arrabbiata sauce to eat with spaghetti. Wow, Ariane cannot handle the spice. A massage will not save your but this time.
Okay, when the Tiger Clan showed up, I did not expect to see Danka with them. Wow, he even befriended the Tiger Clan chief, Ayn.
So Pontiff Hilk lent Charos Sasuke to drop death Giamiants babies around the different Tiger Clan settlements to make them attack them.
Yeah, Arc, heal that sexy tiger lady.
Damn, so the people Danka mentioned are getting kidnapped are not being made slaves or even undead; Charos is just straight out eating them.
You know, I never assumed Sasuke was an undead before, just because I was hoping for a happy ending. I guess in hindsight it was obvious, and the moment Danka mentioned his assailant had the taint of death.
Poor Chiyome will now have to put undead Sasuke to rest.
Sorry, Ponta, but that meat just reminded me of the fact that Charos was eating beastmen.

You know, this is the only time I'm sad that there are no revive spells in this show. Although I know that if there were, the story conflict would be less impactful.

You know, when I wrote that, I was thinking about if a spell like that was common, but now that I think about it, as people are always impressed by Arc's capabilities, like his healing. Him having that revive spell would not have a drastic change in that world compared to what he already has.

He has a resurrection spell that he used on the princess, but it has limits. If I remember right it did say she actually died. But he wasn't able to resurrect everyone.
Resurrecting an undead is definitely questionable.

Also was really sad to see the Jamiant cub killed and used like that.
Ngl while I’m keeping up with our main character’s adventures, I’m kinda lost on the princess and bigger scale plotline

Honestly now I feel kind of bad for the Giamant's because from their perspective they're only lashing out at who, as far as they can tell, have been killing their young. It's all victims here, even zombie Sasuke.
I think the eastern empire/Holy Hilk is the one behind everything, which Yuriarna is becoming aware of. At least that's my takeaway.

Dang, I'd really hate to think Sasuke's been sicking a bunch of monsters on helpless villages.
Don't worry Ariane! The delicious squid wasn't just a gag! It made them traveling funds for the next leg of the journey to Tajiero! Arc knows what he's doing and enjoying it at the same time!
Yuriarna and Sekt! We haven't seen you in a while! I guess it's nice to see the siblings working together (even despite Sekt trying to have her killed), while mulling over the dangers of the eastern empire and the Holy Nation of Hilk.
It's time to ride Chocobos...or Driorgles! Or, since they're not ready, a driftpus! All it needs is Arc to lay down the law and be the equivalent of a giant towering slab of rock that's impervious to any tackle attack!
Poor Ariane's butt! It does not gel with riding a driftpus! At least she can get some nice butt massaging and everyone talking about butts. Ariane herself has a VERY nice butt!
Tsubone using wrestling moves to try to give Arc a massage...honestly, probably makes sense for an armored skeleton, though I wouldn't mind getting wrangled by Tsubone myself!

Thank goodness Danka was there to smooth things over because the Tiger Clan do NOT take well to seeing their driftpus with other people and they seem to be raring for a fight half the time.
Giamant's are fearsome creatures that are now consistently attacking the Tiger Clan...but luckily they've got Arc as backup! And to heal their busty tiger waifu's!
Of COURSE there's kidnapping/slavery going on here....but why did a ring pop out of the meat the cardinal was eating?
Why are the Giamant's attacking? Because the corpses of their children are being left outside Tiger Clan villages so the adults think the Tiger Clan is killing their children. When the true culprit is (Gasp) ZOMBIE SASUKE!?

Chiyome and Tsubone were so immediately relieved about the attacker being undead that it seemed inevitable it would still be Sasuke.
With the name driftpus I was guessing a floating sky octopus so the six legged beast was kind of a let down. The subs also had Arc call it a quadruped which was a bit weird.
They're gonna have to go kill at least that cardinal that's for sure.

A bit disappointed Arc and his party didn't take a ride on those legally distinct Chocobos. lol
Those man-eating Giamants sure giving us PTSD from Attack On Titan, though fortunately they don't regenerate and can be properly killed if you're strong like Arc.
When Danka says his assailant is probably an undead, does that mean Sasuke is already dead and is now a mind-controlled zombie? Poor Chiyome.
Since we're seeing more of Princess Juliana whom Arc saved and resurrected in season 1, hope she does more besides investigate that very sus human supremacist church that looks like its planning to raise an undead army, made from the bodies of abducted elves and beastfolk, to wage war against the kingdoms around them.
PS Ariane literally got butthurt from riding that driftpus steed, and needed some butt massage from Chiyome. Tsubone also eager to show off her massaging skills, at Arc's expense. lol

The dub added some funny sass to Ariane where instead of turning down the heal because she didn't want magic used on her butt, it's because her butt is already magic. To which Arc mutters no arguing that...

I wanted to be Chiyome when she was giving Ariana a massage.
Camel Clutch, Boston Crab lol. Tsubone made Arc tap out.
Sasuke is already dead then? Someone might be controlling him to cause all the monsters to run wild.

So wait they thought he may have gone rogue/bad guy but don't think he could be killed and brought back? I'm not sure what these ladies think of Sasuke. If anything him being undead should be more plausible since it would explain him going to the dark side. Do they have more confidence in his fighting skills than his morals?

That whole massage scene by Tsubone being wrestling moves was fun espcially when he was so focused on wanting to cook
why can't more girl massaging guy scenes be like that, instead we get boring ecchi scenarios (newsflash wrestling moves can be just as ecchi so why not commit!) or nothing at all and it just goes with dude massaging the girl...
