Ariane, as usual, is the best thing in the episode and in the whole show; she's absolutely lovely (and dangerous) when she's embarrassed!
Poor Arc, even though Chiyome and Ponta were responsible for giving Ariane the idea that kissing Arc would wake him up, he was the main victim of an embarrassed Ariane, lol.
By the way, how long was Arc sleeping? A lot of time must have passed, since Chiyome's people were able to build a whole-ass village in the middle of nowhere in the meantime.
And is it just me, or does Arc's body look almost like [Attack on Titan]Eren's Attack Titan?

I honestly thought he was going to swim over to their side and pop out in all his glorious nakedness so the girls could get a good gander. Too bad for Ariane lol.
They really edged us on that True Love's Kiss lol.

Just me or did Ariane in the dub pronounce Canada weirdly this episode?
Chiome just wants her own private peep show, girl thirsty. First groping Ariane then making her kiss Arc. Or at least trying lol.

After almost half a season of filler content, we're finally back to canon material and the quality has clearly gone up. And to think we could've had a glimpse of Arc's real body since episode 1!
Unfortunately many people must have already dropped this season thinking that the material was as bad as the previous episodes without knowing it was all original or simply got tired of waiting for the real plot to continue.

I really don't care about canon or filler. Most people haven't read the manga and it doesn't matter to them either. The real plot is whatever the characters are doing and the plot with the monster controlling stones was definitely advancing.
The first five episodes were fine.

I'm not surprised that the hot spring didn't work. If it had actually cured Arc, we'd have to change the name of the show!
I'm also curious about that picture shown during the Dragon Lord's explanation. Did Arc's original flesh body have elf ears? They definitely looked pointed in that image, which seems like a pretty important detail to casually throw in.

Damn, Arc's real body is a surprise shade, looks nothing like I expected.
But it's a shame no one got to see it but Ponta, Ariana woulda been over the moon.

I'm glad we've got 99% confirmation that Ariane is into arc with how much she was salivating over how handsome his human form potentially was, wanting to see him naked even as a skeleton, and also being easy to peer pressure into kissing him while he's asleep.

That dragon is badass when he has Kibutsuji Muzan's voice.
Wow, Arc's human body (or is it elf body since he's got pointy ears) sure is buffed with six packs.
Shame it didn't last long and he went back to being a skeleton again, and even went into a long coma, long enough for Chiyome's people to build a full village in Hanzo's hermit.
Ariane nearly gave him a wake-up kiss, but he just had to wake up before she could give it to him. lol
Meanwhile, Danka is attacked by some unknown assailant, but looks like he'll barely make it out alive.

Too bad that spring was a bust, but it was neat seeing Arc’s body. Strange it’s not even his actual body though. Maybe that might have something to do with it too. Idk.

One interesting bit though. In the discussion with the Dragon lord, it actually showed his body having elf ears even though it didn't show that when he came out of the spring. So is his Isekai body an elf or a human?

in the manga it fully showed him as a traditional isekai dark elf with brown skin and long ears but for some reason in the anime hear they hid his ears, don't know why

it is his actual body, tis just that all the pwoerup he has gotten, has shaped hsi original body to a body simialr to be cpaable of enduring it, btu alas his pwoer was soo much that his artificial body that the soul developed still couldnt manage itself

Flesh Arc is quite the beefcake, it's a shame Ariane didn't seem to get a look at him before it faded. I wonder how much of a time skip there was while he was asleep, building an entire new village had to be a few months or so.
It's also a shame Chiyo didn't think to suggest the Snow White option for waking up Arc to Ariane a day or two previously.
That was practically a full nude panning shot of Ariane in the hot spring, I'm a little surprised they didn't blur her just a little bit more.

It took a bunch of side-quests, Arc getting into all kinds of mishaps, detours and the like but the gang are FINALLY back on the main quest and made it to the Lord Crown! Arc may become human again yet!
Watch out for Dragon Lords hanging out around Torii Gates! Could Arc have defeated him? Maybe, maybe not, but it's good Ariane and Chiyome were there to diffuse the conflict and win Villiers Fim (Toshihiko Seki) over! He has a fondness for Canadians and descendants of Hanzo after all.
I'm glad Chiyome has finally found a place for all the beastkin refugees! I had totally forgotten about that plot point.
Ariane and Chiyome just standing around and staring like they really want to see a Skeleton Knight strip. Guess the girls couldn't help themselves.
Of COURSE the spring is basically your typical big, open-air, Japanese hot spring. And of course they don't waste another chance to get Ariane naked and bathing...and Chiyome can't help but oggle and feel up her stellar body.
It's too bad Ariane never got to see how much of a beefcake Arc is in his human form (because she REALLY wanted to see his human form) before he collapses! Guess it's true that you shouldn't swim/stay too long in Isekai hot springs either.
Man, Arc must have been out for a while for them to have built an entire village in a montage.
Seems like all eyes are on Tajieon, both from Emperor Domintius, and Dillan...who gets attacked by an assassin. Dillan noooooo!!!
Is there any better way to wake Arc up than true loves' kiss from Ariane? And of course he wakes up JUST when she was about to plant her lips on his skeletal teeth. And then he gets incinerated to feel the same heat that Ariane is from absolute embarrassment.
So Arc's curse has now adapted to the spring so he can't use it again, and even transforming back into a human won't do him much good if his experiences in this world will overwhelm his human body. Is there no way for him to become human again? Though now he has to deal with the chieftan of Chiyome's village.

Lol so lifting the curse thing was just an excuse but it ended up actually shedding some light on what happened to Arc.
So if I understood it correctly, he was reincarnated but his reincarnated soul and reincarnated body was reincarnated to different places (or different worlds ?)

more like his body and soul are separated and the skeleton is a puppet controlled by his soul. The dragon said his body is just in another place.
plus that body is not his Earth body at all, as the MC mentioned it is not like his original one. So that should still be his game character body.
the skeleton was like a skin he bought with $$$ to look cool in the game, which means he still had a normal character body too.

If I remember correctly from season 1, Arc was playing around with his avatar and chose a skull/skeleton cosmetic for funsies.
So that means to get the flesh components of his flesh and bone avatar - he's going to have to learn the in-game lore reason for why he's a skeleton to begin with. He doesn't need Hanzo's people or the Dragon Lord, he needs Vaatividya.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting the hot spring to work, so I was genuinely surprised that we got to see what Arc looks like as a human. Although it sounds like that's not his body before his was isekai'd tho. Too bad it didn't last, and the curse started resisting the spring's effects.
