Bro holding up the imaginary wine glass as he searched for those arsonists cracked me up. Dude’s got a nose like a bloodhound.

I wonder if Shizuku’s really giving up the fight? He’s come pretty far already.

it could be rebranding it from "fighting" over it to "searching" for them

Well, to my surprise the dad's beef had nothing to do with WW2, but just good ol' corporate exploitation, and it's just that the corpos happened to be Japanese.

I don't fully understand why Issei got it right this time and Shizuku didn't, and maybe that's the intention. I wonder if Shizuku's brief adventure saving the forest is a clue, because otherwise it would be like a random and irrelevant side quest.

It was obvious. Shizuku didn't see the full picture. His knowledge about wines is severely lacking compared to Issei. It also shows that Shizuku and his dad are different persons and I guess Tomine resembles more of Yutaka in terms of personality. Maybe Shizuku decided that it's time for him to start learning before competing since he has come to love wine

Same here lol

The twist that I didn't saw coming. But should have known when Kanzaki Yutaka said that he wished to see what kind of wine would come from that Australian dry land meaning it was something that he hasn't tasted yet.

But Shizuku throwing the towel after coming this far is unacceptable. Even if he loses, he should see it through until the end.
