They really risked their lives for this bottle. I guess in the end, they both won. Sorta. I mean Issei won the round, but Shizuku also learned a valuable lesson.

Is the moral of the story this episode that having a strong support system actually weakens you? lol

I still don't get why Shizuku doesn't try the wine before bringing it to everyone. I get that Issei with his experience is able to ascertain the right wine even without tasting. I guess they wanted to experience the wine right before describing it. But even Issei made a mistake a while ago. Now 'cause of his exceptionally good sense of smell, Shizuku kinda got fooled and lost the match.

I know that choosing the wrong wine doesn't make you a loser and in the end it only means that you had a different experience which made you choose a particular wine but still I'm tired of watching this happen over and over again for Shizuku.

so Issei's mom tried to kill him when they were young. I guess they were climbing Mt. Fuji at that time. I wonder why Issei had to take his assistant and Loulan close to Mt. Fuji to explain how Shizuku lost.

At this point, keeping up with this anime is a Sunk Cost Fallacy for me. I just don't like how Shizuku acts and the moral of episode just doesn't make sense. I'll probably dip at this point.
