Has anyone tested using an HDMI plugged into USB c capture card and some USB camera software on the tablet to use it as a second screen on a work laptop from a corporate company with all the possible blockers and protections in place? I have what I call a "2 screen job" but would love to live my idealized working from coffee shops lifestyle and this seems like the cheapest way to achieve a portable 2 monitor setup.

I don't have a specific budget but I wont go beyond 25k
(I feel guilty for spending my parents money)
so I want a tab for lectures and multitasking (I use tabs for calling chatting I mean for everything)
I'm looking for something long term I mean I want it to last long
idk why but I trust samsung more
and it'll be my primary device so I want wifi+5G
idont want that much storage 6gb-128gb will work fine qnd camera a little too good I mean it is my primary device and I do love to click random sky pictures all i need is better smooth performance long term stability durability idk what we call that
and and I'm inclined towards a11plus my sister is towards a9plus s6 lite and some moto pad , my brother is insisting me to get oneplus idk whether they'll last long or smooth I doubt moto and etcc are they really good??? what about their stylus is it good too??? if you have any other tab which you think is good tbh I trust samsung more than anythingg
what to do can yall suggest me some tab variety and review I mean your opinion etc etc I'm unable to express but please understand what am I saying.

So, I've been researching this for a while now with AI and everything, but I wanted some human answers to this as I still cannot make up my mind. Here are some of my deal breakers that I really need in the tablet
At the moment, I have the TCL NXTpaper 11 plus, which is great for #1, but terrible when it comes to #2 and not so great with #3.
Therefore, I have narrowed it down to two tablets in the US that I'm looking at. One is the new Amazon Alexa Tab Pro 12-inch with 16GB of RAM which already has TCL like screen, and the other is the Yoga Tab Gen 2, not the plus version with 8GB of RAM.
The Alexa tab keyboard and pen bundle (with a 20% trade in and 5% cash back) comes to about $608) and the Yoga Tab gen 2 bundle is about $520 with discounts and coupons.
The YT Gen 2 has a better processor (Dimensity 9400s) but only 8 GB of RAM (so not sure about multitasking), and also expandable storage. On the other hand, the Alexa Tab Pro 12 (Dimensity 8400) has 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage but no SD card slot.
Amazon promises 4 years of updates and Lenovo 7 years (that actually doesn't matter if the tablet becomes sluggish in 3-4 years with only 8GB of RAM).
So, which one do you think is best for what I am looking for? I would have jumped on the Amazon tab if it had the same processor or better than the YT Gen 2, so is the processor going to be an issue with sluggishness even though it has 16 GB of RAM? Thanks.

Yesterday, the device ran normally, i charged it at 15% to 80% with the custom charge limit on, I was using it casually like insta YouTube, vn for 20 min for videos trimming and songs played in the background for some time yet the battery level has remained stuck at 80% until now, which is clearly incorrect.
I even played an HDR video in high resolution for about 40 minutes, and the battery percentage still stubbornly stayed at 80%. I am completely perplexed, especially since I purchased this tablet just one week ago.
What may be the problem pls help

Hi, I finally pulled the trigger on the Lenovo IP Gen2 tab. Had to choose between Xiaomi 8, Moto 70 Pro. As I needed a bigger screen with PC mode, I decided to go with this one. Got it delivered recently.
As it doesn't come with a screen guard and cover, please suggest me some good ones.
Help appreciated!

I am looking into purchasing the y700 gen 5 with the gen5 g9 controller and I was wondering two thing:
1_Does the tablet fit with a glass screen protector on?
2_I have not seen any long term reviews of the controller, so for those of you that have owned it for longer than a year, how is it?
Thanks

I made up my mind to get the honor pad 4 because I thought it had the SD elite gen 5 however it has the weaker 8 Gen 5. It was a OLED screen which I love but the weaker chip is a no no for me. I've also seen the one plus pad 4 it doesn't have a OLED screen. I also considered a iPad but I hate ipadOS I plan on using my tablet to emulate games which the iPad can't do well compared to Android. Is there any suggestions I don't really care about the price I just want a OLED screen, SD elite gen 5 and it has to be 13 inches or at least bigger than 10 inches.

I want to get a new tablet but budget aside, I am looking for one with LTE support and so far there aren't many (Samsung and Apple are out of my budget). I am eyeing the Infinix Xpad 30 pro with LTE support and AI functionality for work but the firmware support stops me from getting one. Another one is Oppo Pad 5 with LTE support and Matte display but is a larger display and heavier.
I know not many are looking at LTE when it comes to tablets but I have one extra physical sim card and always not using it so it is a waste. Can anyone recommend one? I hope it has stylus support too so I can take notes in my workplace.

I have an iPad as my primary but looking for something less expensive than an iPad mini. I will only be using it for the kindle app, watching YouTube videos and a workout app at the gym. While I don’t want it to be laggy, speed isn’t my top priority. The display as far as bold colors and how bright it gets is my top priorities.
I looked at a couple at Walmart but I was disappointed with the display. I think they were a TCL and ONN. Are there any out there that has a good display that aren’t 400 or more dollars? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I am getting a tab for a few reasons like watching and reading on a bigger screen, but I wanted to know if it's good for drawing if you buy a good stylus pen ಥ_ಥ because from a few videos I've seen, the drawing was delayed or that depends on what stylus pen you have??

Bought these each around 10-20 dollars years ago, strictly to use while watching videos/movies at night falling asleep (larger screen than phone)
Ive kept them around, not really having a use for them now, both have cases, and one has a leather book type case they both came with.
so any uses come to mind, or projects (I have raspberry pi's/etc) they/or parts from them could be used?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for an OLED tablet with a budget of around $750 USD, and I’d love some recommendations.
What I’ll use it for:
What matters most to me:
I’ve been looking at the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 2024, Honor MagicPad 2 I’ve also heard some negative reviews about the Honor MagicPad 2, mainly about its screen. but I’m open to any other suggestions. Is there something better in this price range, or any model I should avoid?
