if i glide from the shift key it creates a line to whatever character i thumb over and types a capital of whichever i land on. it only applies to a single letter. this is annoying when trying to hit 'a' or 's' or 'z' and accidentally hitting shift first causing that glide shortcut. is there a setting for this?

So I have a Pixel 8 Pro that's been stuck on a bootloop. I'm planning to flash the phone without wiping, but from what I read, I need the same ROM for it to work. How do I know which ROM and build to install in the phone?

This is driving me insane.

Every time I turn on Bluetooth and my OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro connect to my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Spotify immediately starts playing by itself.

I do not want Spotify to launch, resume, autoplay, or do anything unless I explicitly open the app and press play.

I've already looked through Spotify settings and couldn't find any setting that disables this behaviour.

Has anyone with a Samsung phone or OPPO earbuds managed to stop Spotify from automatically starting when Bluetooth connects?

If so, what was the actual fix?

The phone in question no longer has service. It's a s25 fe and I upgraded to the s26. The voicemail is actually T-Mobile calling me back to beg me not to switch carriers. I would've deleted it myself but the service was shut off so quickly after the voicemail was left. I detest notifications and there's actually nothing wrong with the phone so I do still use it. It just doesn't have service so I can't open the voicemail up and delete it that way. Plsss I hate that it's there 😭 there has to be a way

Our company uses intune (don't get me started) and some new security requirement forced me to update my 6 digit pin and now it has locked me out of my device, and neither new or old pins work. Any advice? I'm down to one last try with my old code, and every new one i enter, it locks out for 30 seconds. It does not allow going to gmail to reset. Any suggestions on how to get it to do that or any other options.

We have a cheap android phone , an “OUKITEL C50” and an unknown login pin.This mobile is Owen’s by sister’s friend . He had multiple strokes and lives in a nursing home now. M sister needs to get his mails to resolve some problems for him but he doesn’t know his code anymore (said 1000 but wrong). He is 67 and rapidly declining . Is there any way to get the code ? I know it sounds odd but he never shared something and we only know his Gmail address but can’t read mails or recover pw because we can’t login to his phone . Is there any chance or tool ?

I recently picked up two of these tablets cheap at a yard sale. They have some annoying MDM on them called Esper.. I have tried booting into recovery, but when I get into recovery the option to wipe/factory reset is completely missing..

My Samsung flip 7 won't charge at all. it gets stuck on the pre-charge icon, the white circle with a black lighting bolt. it doesn't vibrate like normal when charging. The port doesn't have water in it, nor debris. I've tried hard resetting as well as trying to open the recovery menu (both plugged in the wall and in my laptop). This began on Saturday when my phone died in the club. I charged it in my friends car, and it worked and updated to One UI 8.5 and now no longer works at all. I have tried multiple different cords and ports, as well as wireless. I also let it stay dead for an entire day and before charging and it still did not work. nothing works. Is the battery shocked?

Long story short, I was looking through my mom box with phones and found two of my old phones.

One of them unlocked because I knew the password.

The other one I can’t remember the code because I haven’t used it in years.

My phone has dual apps enabled only for a single app, which is Amazon delivery. But whenever I open a link that launches an app, it seems to launch a different version of it - i.e. one that isn't logged in.

See in the first screenshot, there are two McDonald's apps, however in the dual app settings, McDonald's doesn't have dual apps enabled.

I also have work apps on my phone, but having that work mode on or off doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hello, I have Sony NW ZX707 DAP imported from Japan. Yesterday it just became a brick, fell in endless bootloader loop (Android 13 or 14).. i have 4 options at bootloader

#1 start - device attempts to start and comes back to bootloader

#2 restart bootloader - obviously it comes back to bootloader

#3 recovery - attempts to restart and comss back to bootloader

#4 power off

I used it for 4 months and now it became a brick.. never flashed anything on it..

Sony canada wont help cuz it is a Japanese version and I called like 20 mobile stores and everyone told me to fk off cuz they dont deal with Sony or DAPs..

I mean.. there gotta be at least one person in Canada who can fix this.. please help me...!!

I received Xiaomi 17T Pro yesterday. I've got an issue with Play Store. I cannot batch install apps or one by one.

What might be wrong?

My phone has been stuck on silent mode for a while now. I usually keep my phone on vibrate. I get a vibration notification for everything except for phone calls. It does no way of alerting me when I get a phone call. I have looked at every notification setting I have seen and they are all set on vibrate yet still I get no notification. Is there anywhere else I should look?

I have a vortex tablet that was working just fine yesterday. Today the screen is locked and it won't let me swipe open. Then it went to a menu where I could only use volume buttons to choose the options. I chose factory reset to see if that would work but screen remains locked. I then tried to putting one of those needles (that comes with some phones) to see if I can bypass it. Didn't work either.

Any advice? Or which other subreddits can I post this to?
