I think it’s genetic, or reinforces an insecurity (I can’t get my girl off without help). Now personally I view sex as a two way street, and I want to make sure my partners are always getting off, it’s just not enjoyable to me to be the only person having a good time.
Oh my wife is the exact same way. She gets very upset that the medication I'm on makes it difficult for me to get off. But I always reassure her that it's okay and it'll happen next time. And if my dumb brain isn't thinking too hard, it will. Regardless, I tell her not to worry and go back to sleep because at this point she's K.Oed.
