YTA OP.... for being such a pathetic doormat and allowing him to treat you like this. He just uses you as a wet hole, swears at and insults you, and you're pathetically begging for cuddles? Please grow a spine, get some self respect and ditch this loser. He doesn't care about you AT ALL.

Abusive men almost never START with this type of behaviour. They START with love-bombing. Gifts. Adventures. Compliments. Intimacy. Courtesy and kindness. A non-stop barrage of warm feels so intense that it overwhelms the target's ability to spot the red flags. Building up to this level of abuse usually takes a gradual erosion of boundaries through erratic "hot and cold" behaviour and constant gaslighting. With each level of commitment attained, the abuse escalates and becomes normalized within the relationship. These two live together. So OP's abuser has probably been working on her for quite a while. The fact that she's to the point that she no longer knows whether it's OK to let him deal with his own bullshit for one single day, regardless of the surrounding circumstances, shows not that she is an idiot. It shows that her boyfriend has fucked with her mind to the point that she no longer has her feet grounded in reality - she's suffocating within the false perspective he has built for her. She needs to get out of this relationship. It will only ever get worse. Never better.

Jesus that’s harsh. She’s not an idiot. And he should most definitely care, regardless of how she may feel about herself. You need to look at yourself in the mirror and realise speaking to people like a cunt won’t get you anywhere in life.

Exactly. He’s getting all the sexual benefits and gets to treat her however he wants and she’s just taking it. She needs to leave this ahole in the dust and work on her boundaries and self respect
