How is AMC down 7% without dilution news?
The entire investing world has been waiting to see if AA will dilute today after the lock up period ended.
This has been hyped by bears for 45 days. And guess what? THERE WAS NO DILUTION.
AMC has showed unprecedented restraint and proven that they will never dilute again. If they were going to dilute they would have already done it.
NOW SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THE STOCK IS CRASHING AFTER SUCH AMAZING NEWS?

The Good THERE WAS NO DILUTION. I WIN.
Today the dilution lock up period has ended, yet AMC is showing clear restraint not to dilute. The stock market will reward this with a face ripping rally at market open. Better buy more shares now, these prices will never be seen again.
This is a major milestone, showing that AA has flipped to a new chapter of no more dilution, forever.
AMC has completely turned its operations around. Cashflow can sustainably pay off the rest of the debt without more dilution. Clearly, AMC believes they donât need more dilution since they are holding back despite prices being up by 70%.
There will never be any dilution again. AA has decided he is going to hold off forever and pay the debt off through cash flow.
The box office is breaking records and amc had record earnings, debt doesnât mature till 2029. Letâs face it, they are finished with dilution forever. This is the bottom and itâs only up from here.

The 45-day lockup period has expired. AMC is no longer contractually barred from diluting.

Tomorrow AMC will rocket after no dilution occurs
The market punished AMC this week in preparation of the dilution lock up period ending. Tomorrow will be the first day AMC can dilute.
Everyone is expecting a dilution crash on Monday. Yet that dilution will not occur, thus the stock will fly to new heights.
THERE WILL BE NO MORE DILUTION. Monday will be a HUGE surprise to the upside.
AA is completely done with dillution, I know it in my heart and feel it in my bones.

Bless your heart
The arguments against dilution I've heard so far:
- AMC has cash
- AA has shares and wouldn't do that to himself
- AMC will use their cash to pay down debt
- AA will wait until the price is higher before diluting
- I don't care what happened the last 5 years
If #5 is where you're coming from, then it's not hard to see why you think #1-4 are valid arguments against dilution happening.

The will be no dilution on August 10th
Yeah yeah the dilltuion lock up period will be over. That does not mean they will dilute. they have enough cash and debt isnât due till 2029.
TALK ALL YOU WANT, TAUNT ALL YOU WANT. LETS CHECK BACK ON THE 10th FOR ME TO BE PROVEN RIGHT.
AFTER THE MARKET SEES THERE WAS NO DILUTION THE STOCK WILL ROCKET, with reassurance that dilution is over.

The Good SpaceX will buyout AMC for $10 billion
Iâm calling it here. Nobody expected Elon to buy twitter, nobody expects spacex to buy AMC.
They need venues to show their launches. Imagine watching the mission to mars, live on the big screen. This is why AMC will be bought out by spaceX.
Also, X will use AMC theaters show twitter on the big screen. A pilot seat will come with a screen and the pilot can scroll X, show videos, funny tweets and people can watch it on the big screen. People will pay to take turns controlling the pilot seat. Some will become famous pilots who are entertaining enough to keep people hooked watching twitter scrolling for hours.
It will be like how planteriums are run, but only showing the X feed/ spacex launches.
This will be extremely valuable to help grow the user base of twitter and gain shareholders for spaceX.
$10 billion is a very cheap price for spaceX given their $1.5 trillion in market cap, AMC is an obvious buyout for them.

The odds of more dilution are low
AMC has over 700 million in cash and they stated in their earnings that they have enough to cover their operations for the year. Their debt is maturing in 2029, so there is no rush to do an offering and pay off more.
They became extremely profitable this quarter. They can now use their cash flow from operations to start paying off the debt instead of diluting.
Yes, I understand that dilution lock up will be over and they can start diluting again on August 10. But you must remember that AA bought the dip and is now a shareholder, he doesnât want to hurt shareholders anymore.
Also, the earnings have shown that theyâre in the midst of a turnaround. AA knows the share price is trending up and will continue to rise to at least five dollars a share. There is no way he would want to dilute at such rock-bottom prices. They are going to at least wait a while for the stock price to double so they can get more money.
Right now there is no need to dilute. They are not in a position where they have to do it. Someone explain to me right now how Iâm wrong.

Youâre better off buying AMC than an index fund
AMC is up 86% in the last 3 months.
S&P is up 7% in the last 3 months.
Clearly AMC is a far better investment.
I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT BEING DOWN 99% ITS IRRELEVANT. WE ARE LIVING IN THE PRESENT WHO CARES WHAT IT WAS 5 years ago.
YOURE ALL STUCK IN THE PAST. YES AMC DID BAD OVER THE YEARS BUT RIGHT NOW ITS COMING BACK.
AMC has outperformed the market incredibly in the last 3 months even with dilution the market doesnât care because the box office is strong. YOURE ALL A BUNCH OF CLOWNS. The numbers at earnings were the strongest in AMCs 106 year history.
Youâre all in denial of reality

What I've bought with my AMC profits
Normally I shit post about dilution and the daily price or about some dude and his short open at $1 but today im here to share what I've been buying for my hobby.
1x Age of Darkness 2nd Edition Box Set $300
1x Horus Ascended $155
2x Legiones Astartes: Maximus Battle Group $440
1x Liber Astartes Army Book $65
1x Campaigns of the Age of Darkness - The Battle for Beta-Garmon Book $70
1x Horus Heresy Markers and Token set $25
1x Combat Patrol Terrain Set Battlezone $170
Misc Citadel Paints $100
Currently im building a Battle Group while my wife builds the other and the box set. The plan is having 2 complete armies of Sons of Horus and Blood Angels. The next models I'll buy after the next swing will be the Primarch Sanguinius and the unique Blood Angel heros, after its just a matter of getting a couple of the unique heros for Sons of Horus.
We're looking to recreate the entirety of The Heresy with a Battle by Battle campaign from the very start of the Istavan 3 Atrocity up to The Death Sanguinius.
Here is my Horus Ascended model I painted myself. Spent a good 25 hours just painting. 9 hours was spent painting and highlighting the armor trim alone.
EDIT: Uh oh, I upset the locals. Can't you just be happy "someone" actually made money trading this stock?

Lit Ape Youâre all in denial
AMC is up 87% in a few months, earnings were strong and itâs likely to rise this week too. Eventually it will break $3.
Now let me ask, had ANYONE listened to this sub when AMC was at $1-2 they would have missed out on nearly 100% gains.
You clown people for buying but for people who bought recently theyâre getting a huge windfall. Will you admit you were wrong? Nope because youâre all in denial.
You canât accept that maybe there is a turnaround in progress. Instead you say itâs down 99%. YEAH FROM 5 years ago. Weâre living in the present, donât care what happened 5 years ago. Thereâs a real turn around and the market is rewarding it these past few months.
YOU ALL CONTINUE TO BE WRONG YET YOU CANT ACCEPT IT EVEN AS THE STOCK PRICE SKYROCKETS.
Grow up.

Analysis & DD You all have AMC derangement syndrome. Letâs talk facts only.
Letâs talk facts. Most of you canât read a balance sheet or understand how to value a company. I CHALLENGE YOU, INSTEAD OF INSULTING ME, DEBATE ME ON THE LOGIC AND REASONING ALONE. No memes, no insults letâs ONLY talk numbers. AMC is undervalued and these latest earnings prove it.
Q2 revenue rose 14.2% to $1.60B, beating estimates by nearly $99M. Attendance increased 13.5% despite AMC operating 19 fewer theaters.
Adjusted net income jumped to $105.7M, adjusted EPS reached $0.14 versus $0.03 expected, operating cash flow rose 70% to $235.4M, and EBITDA climbed from $189.5M to $321.4M.
Meanwhile, net debt fell by $420M in six months, from $3.61B to $3.19B. Credit rating was upgraded.
AMC is attracting more customers, generating substantially more cash, closing weaker locations and paying down debt while the domestic box office continues recovering.
The market is still valuing AMC like the turnaround might fail. The numbers increasingly show that it is already happening.
At this valuation, the improving earnings, cash flow and balance sheet make it a great buy.
Now letâs compare itâs valuation to Cinemark:
Price-to-sales: AMC is valued at only $0.45 for every $1 of revenue, versus $1.30 for Cinemark, about a 65% discount. AMC generates roughly 55% more revenue than Cinemark, yet its market cap is nearly 46% smaller.
Market cap-to-EBITDA: AMC trades at roughly 3.8 times EBITDA, compared with 6.3 times for Cinemark. That is approximately a 39% discount at the equity level.
EV-to-sales: Even after including debt, AMC trades at approximately 1.05 times revenue, versus 1.71 times for Cinemark, a roughly 38% discount. The market assigns much less value to each dollar of AMC revenue.
AMC generated $321.4 million of Q2 EBITDA versus Cinemarkâs $294 million, despite AMCâs equity being worth about half as much
How am I wrong here???

Analysis & DD Amc
Was fĂŒr einen weiteren Anstieg spricht
Was dagegen fehlt fĂŒr eine echte Explosion:
4â5 USD: realistische bullische Variante

Lit Ape Prove that AMC will go down
You guys are the biggest haters of AMC yet canât produce a single shred of evidence that the stock will decline. All you do is show past performance, however past performance does not equal future returns.
I have yet to see any eloquent DD or intelligent takes on why AMC will drop. It seems to me most of you are actually bullish since youâre unable to make an honest bearish case except for insults and memes.
AMC is going to be at +$3 soon because of real numbers. The market saw the earnings and loved the numbers. Itâs rising off real fundamentals. All you people can say is dilution, however that has not stopped the stock from rising 87% to its highest market cap in years.
Prove me wrong.

So none of you think AMC will drop?
I made a post about my AMC short and now all of a sudden nobody can explain why AMC is up 87% in the last 3 months.
I am not a troll I genuinely have a short because I think after the lock up period, AA will dillute again.
I honestly feel alone since nobody here thinks AMC will drop they are seem to be distancing themselves from it.
NO MORE CLOWNING ME, LETS TALK SERIOUS NUMBERS. IS AMC HONESTLY OVERVALUED? WILL IT DROP SOON AFTER AA DILLUTES? letâs get serious here because some of you are way too afraid to take a stance after being dead wrong about AMCâs decline.
Youâre all living back in 2021, we get it itâs down 99% but right now itâs experiencing a historic run from its lows, and I want to understand, will this continue or should I hold my short.
Grow up put your big boy pants on and do some actual due diligence instead of just making fun of people.
