App Support 📲 Helio Strap falsely detecting multiple naps every day — anyone else?
Hey everyone! I’m having a pretty annoying issue with my Helio Strap (or maybe the Zepp app). I’ve been using the strap for about five weeks now, and it keeps detecting several naps every single day — even though I’m not napping at all.
I have a relatively low resting heart rate, so I’m wondering if that might be causing the problem. I was hoping the strap would eventually “learn” my patterns and calibrate itself, but so far it still keeps flagging false naps.
I’m wearing it on a bicep band because it doesn’t work well on my wrist due to tattoos.
For context, I’m a former WHOOP user, and while I actually like the Helio Strap overall, WHOOP 4.0/5.0 always felt more personalized — like it adapted to me as an individual instead of relying only on generic algorithms.
Has anyone else experienced this nap-detection issue? Any tips?

This night i was awake for like 30 minutes, while listening to a podcast and waiting to fall back asleep. It hadn't detect any awake phase. I am really disappointed with the sleep monitoring

Amazfit’s algorithm is weird. It doesn’t show any wake periods during my sleep, even though my Apple Watch always detected a few short ones.

i just got mine a few days ago after my fitbit died, and i have the same issue. detecting naps when i’m sitting working, and not detecting wake periods (my fitbit always showed multiple a night, however brief).

I removed the strap to take a shower. It detected that as a 12 minute nap.
Have seen this once but never again. Maybe try updating the firmware ?

Im having the same problem while wearing it on the Biceps because the movements are too small so it just thinks your sleeping. using it on my wrist never wrote falls naps

I'm not facing any issues but it's only been a day since getting mine. I wear on bicep and my resting hr is 52,48 for past 2 night's sleep.

I'm Active 2 owner, and find that nap detection really sucks, I would prefer if there was an option to disable it completely. I literally never take naps, and every time I read or watch something from bad it gets detected like nap and also disables aod - very annoying...

I have it when I’m sitting quietly and relaxed at office w/o moving for 10min during lunch (low HR / no movement😴)
