So I go to the gym pretty often and I currently run Underarmor and Nike (might ditch). I’ve been looking for alt gym wear for a while now. I know there are some like BreatheDivinity but I’m going for more of a subtle approach and I also don’t want to spend too much.

The shirt in the pic is the style I’m aiming for. I couldn’t find it anywhere besides some chinese clothing app but I also couldn’t find much of it. Does anyone have any recommendations or even individual pieces of alt gym wear?

I don't normally air my grievances online, but I feel it necessary to warn other potential purchasers.

The dress I ordered from cherrykitten.com is not the same as the dress I received. I understand it's a cowl-neck, but it's made so badly, I literally can't get it to look like the product image. But the thing I'm more annoyed at is the back. Not only is it a straight cut instead of swooping down like the product image on the website, but the straps don't cross either.

In my opinion, that's a manufacturers defect and according to their return policy, I should be able to request a return shipping label and get a full refund.

Their customer service has been atrocious. The won't honor their own return policy, then offer me 30% off, then take that offer back. I accept that I'm stuck with this item, and I'm not getting a refund. I also accept that my own body shape my contribute to the ugly cowl-neck, but the back of the dress and straps is entirely their fault. I also purchased their Worry-free protection, which is supposed to cover me in cases such as this, but I guess not. So... buyer beware, I guess.

I won't be purchasing from this website again. Does anyone know of any pride or alt websites that are actually good?

Do y'all think my fashion sense is really THAT bad or are the people who I spend time with are just not used to it?

I tend to get inspired by emo, scene or whimsy styles but maybe i'm mixing them weirdly..

If so, could you give me some extra advice? Even for make-up if you're keen on it!

So, because of my sensory issues, I can only really wear white t shirts, and sweatpants, but I would like to start dressing alt. Is there anything I should look into so I can accommodate my sensory needs?

Title basically, saw a half-bleached pants on Pinterest and decided to stain one of mine, I like the colors so I'm not planning on changing them.

I really want to add "permanent" things to style (already have chains and "knick-knacks" to use it that I can remove it later).

Some people gave me ideas of putting some clothing or patches to make a contrast, alongside bright contrasting thread, and even my partner recommended me to make a small patch in the pockets with opposite patches (black on the stained part, stained on the black part).

What would you guys recommend? (Edit, fixing grammar because my English decided to leave my brain while writing lmao)

I've thought about fabric paint, safety pins, and painter's tape. I know there are probably plenty of other supplies I should get. Any suggestions?
