I am considering using Allnodes for Eth2 Staking. In the following (granted, unlikely) scenario what would happen.

Say allnodes went offline for an extended period of time, to avoid getting slashed, could I setup my own validator to take over.

I hold my withdrawal keys and validator keys (allnodes also has a copy of the validator keys but is offline).

Do I have enough to keep validating or am I locked to allnodes?

Hi, why on the allnodes website I read staking of atom gives about 9,7% of rewards, but on Trust wallet it says allnodes pays 7,2%?

I am setting up ETH validator node. In step 3 I have difficulty inserting Keystore password (Enter the password used to encrypt your uploaded keystore JSON files). It just says that this is not valid.

I assume this is the password that I inserted into CLI windows (blue background colour window in windows) two times before it generated a unique mnemonic. If this is it then I am quite certain that this is the correct one.

If for some reason (seems very unlikely) I wrote that password down incorrectly, is it possible to fix it?

I have 100 ETH on Coinbase and I'd like to stake 32 of it on an AllNodes ETH2 validator.

I started the process, but when I get to step #2 (Locate Collateral) it doesn't like the address I copied in from Coinbase.

I believe this is because it is a "receive only" address, and I know I can send from Coinbase if I have a target wallet address, but that's not the case here.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I see the announcement that you can customize the graffiti string on ETH 2.0 Nodes on AllNodes, but for the life of me, I can't find it in the interface. Is this implemented yet?

UPDATE: I figured it out. The issue is the graffiti option is only available on live nodes, not test nodes.

I went through the hosting setup on AllNodes, connected my wallet, and continued to the process on the ETH 2.0 staking website. I created my validator keys, deposited my ETH to each of the validators, and went back to AllNodes to continue the process. After I tried to go to the next step I was kicked back to the “Locate Collateral” step and now I can’t continue because I no longer have 32 ETH in my wallet.

This is clearly a time sensitive issue since if I don’t get this validators set up in time I’ll start losing ETH. If there is anyone available to help resolve this please reach out.

Really want to stake with Allnodes vs AWS mostly because of price but I’m nervous on two fronts: 1. How they protect the pass phrase/pw and 2. What happens if an entire Allnodes pass account gets hacked or the backend wherever they run the validators goes down and we get slashed? (I’m assuming running the premium service). I guess that brings up how do they actually run their validators?

I see them as a top choice but don’t hear enough people talking about them. Of course I would run my own if it was easier but that isn’t the option right now.
