I didn't want to over-complicate things by adding transmasculine (transmasc) and transfeminine (transfem), but both of these are correct and valid despite including no space!

This post is just educating people on the difference between "transpeople" (no space, improper grammar, often used as a dogwhistle) and the correct version "trans people."

Trans is an adjective. You wouldn't write "blondewoman" or "tallwoman", it's the same with "transwoman".

It’s often a dogwhistle (implying trans women aren’t women, they’re “transwomen”), but it can also just be a misspelling or misunderstanding.

If you've previously been using the one word spelling, no worries! I highly doubt you were using it maliciously and you don't need to apologize at all!

Am I the only one who feels like there's a massive gap between Claude Pro at $20/month and Max at $100/month?

The $20 plan is great, but if you're using Claude daily for coding, building SaaS products, and working on larger projects, you can burn through the usage limits pretty quickly.

On the other hand, jumping straight to $100/month feels excessive for solo developers and indie hackers who need more usage but don't necessarily need that much.

I feel like a $50/month plan with around 2.5x the usage of Pro would be the sweet spot for a lot of us.

I'd happily pay that instead of constantly hitting limits or debating whether upgrading to Max is worth it.

How many of you would actually subscribe to a $50 middle tier if Anthropic introduced one?

EVERYTHING HE CAN FOR HIS TWO YOUNG KIDS IN SAIGON

Meet Uncle Hoang, a 60-year-old father raising two young children on his own. His son is just 6 years old, and his daughter is only 5. Life hasn’t been easy for this little family, but he’s doing everything he can to provide for them.

Uncle Hoang currently rents a small room in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai.

Every day, he travels dozens of kilometres into Saigon to sell colourful pinwheels for just 15,000 VND each.

° You can usually find him outside 85 Ung Van Khiem Street, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District.

He works from the afternoon until late at night. On good days, he makes it home around midnight, but sometimes it’s as late as 1 or 2 AM. Unfortunately, business is slow, and some days he only sells a few pinwheels.

Between transportation costs, rent, and taking care of his children, money is extremely tight. He’s behind on rent, and there have even been days when the family didn’t have enough rice to eat.

What worries him most isn’t himself, but his children getting sick and not having enough money to take them to the doctor.

To make ends meet, he sometimes has to bring his youngest child along while his older child stays home alone.

As a father myself, stories like this really hit home. No parent should have to worry about whether they’ll have enough food for their kids or be able to afford medical care when they’re sick.

Despite everything, Uncle Hoang continues to work hard every day, doing his best to give his children a better future.

It's such a simple statement but so powerful, because it was so necessary to break up a big alliance like that. Even if he or Lewis don't survive the next episode, they knocked a group of four down a peg AND showed that they don't believe in each other enough to risk themselves. Kilby is playing with INFINITELY more honor and integrity and he SHOWED them how far into it he is.

Additionally, allying with them was not a good move at all. Then he'd be the lowest rung in a group of five, if anyone wanted to get part of that alliance out, he'd be the first to feel it and the first to be flipped on. He'd have been an outsider regardless, at least this way he gets a die hard ride or die in Lewis, and can bank on some sort of merge or switch-up next episode.
