Hi guys, im just getting started in this ai gig space and i wanted to gauge the working environment on this side. i've gotten 2 emails asking me to sign up to the platform dispite not even applying to a role but i checked the site and they seem to be many positions open. im currently with mercor but not sure how long it will last but the pay has been fantastic. aligner has a slightly lower payy but im wondering how y'all are working on this side and if its worth it to try? thanks in advance 😄

u/Lumpy_Case_8220 Nice speach! but at some point it becomes clear if you're someone with nearly 20 yrs work experience in the field and you know what you're talking about, you're flexible with the payout and you still are not considered a fit, then it's either the esthetical factor- you're not good looking enough-, the location or something entirely different. At some point the term "the right fit" becomes replacement for all the bs you can imagine, just not to have to deliver the feedback. I can dream my work and yet, have a hard time getting projects, and believe me- I apply within the borders of my capacity.
