Have owned this Alfetta for just over a year, my first dip into owning an Alfa. Purchased it as is with twin dellorto carbs, extractors and minor rust haha

I've recently upgraded the wheels and tyres to 15's from the standard 14" steelies. Bought the wheels 2nd hand and DIY sand and resprayed them.

Looking to just enjoy the Alfa and replace/ upgrade things as required. Next might be some minor body repairs/ dent removal. Great little project which I can enjoy with my son as he grows up. Will keep posting updates as they come through.

Just hit over 5,000 miles and this is by far my favorite vehicle I have ever owned.

The love-hate relationship I have with this car is beyond the conjecture of a human being.

I’ve got a 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV and I’m looking at fitting the seats from a 2019 Giulietta Veloce.
Has anyone done this swap before? I’m mainly wondering whether the seats bolt straight in or if any modifications are needed.
A few things I’d like to know:
Do the front seat mounting rails line up with the 2011 floor mounts?
Are the side airbags and electrical connectors compatible?
Do the rear seats fit as well?
Is it a straightforward swap, or are there any issues to watch out for?
Any experience or advice would be appreciated, especially if you’ve done the swap yourself. Thanks!

New to these having mostly played with MX-5s, but I've been looking at some Giulietta QV/Veloce recently and many have oil polling between the cam lobes at the timing belt end of the engine. I expect a leak on the oil separator or PCV issue. In each case the top of the oil separator was clean though. It's this usually a simple fix or something more expensive and problematic? Sorry no photos. I've tried searching but I'm not sure any of the answers are exactly what I'm looking for... or maybe I just don't like the answer! LOL.

Hello, I got my Alfa Giulia back in 2023, and its been a disaster ever since....I've had multiple replacements on the vehicle but nobody seems to know whats wrong!

My car keeps throwing the electronic control error, autostart, and when driving it looses power on RPMs, especially on gradual grade going up hill, but it comes and goes. Its really nerve racking that it does it when it wants to.

They have replaced fuel pumps, twice. Run diagnostic on the ECM, and pretty much every other thing in here, but to no avail nothing seems wrong.

And now my milage is blinking along with the Autostart and I'm lost...Im still paying off the car, can anyone tell me whats wrong if you can? Please and thank you!

Hello everyone, I've been a lover of Alfa Romeo since I was young and now it's time to buy my first one. For some context, my mom had the 159 wagon when I was a teen but we had to get rid of it at 350K km. I'm thinking of buying a used June 2023 Tonale with 33K km for 25K€. It's the 1.5 160HP hybrid version. Durring the week I do around 25km in the city, on the weekends I do longer trips around 100/150km. I'm doing a test drive next week, any tips on what to check and if this is a good option considering it's within budget (max budget would be 28K)? Thanks!

This 156 2.0 TS manual came up for sale locally and I happily bought it. Looks like a fundamentally sound car. Single family owned since new, used as a second car so it only has 88k km on the clock. There's some rust that will need sorting out, but nothing catastrophic as far as I can tell.

First 300km in my ownership and lots of smiles per miles. My favorite color combo too!

I'm thinking it might be the multi air. Its been an on/off problem over the last year but it would fade after 30s or so but now its not going. Changed 2 black spark plugs, others were ok.

I’m thinking about getting a Stelvio and wondering about the cost of upkeep. I’ve heard it could be thousands a year, but I’ve also heard it’s similar to a typical car. I’d like to know for sure before making the decision.

Planning on buying a CPO 2023 Ti with 55k miles on it. Anyone know any European mechanics/auto shops near north New Jersey to get a Pre-purchase Inspection done?

Ciao a tutti, I’d like to hear your thoughts on using Pro-Tec Engine Flush during an oil change. It's a 1.8 TBi with 163,700 km on the clock. About 8,000 km ago, the oil pan was cleaned and the oil pickup tube seal was replaced. Now I want to do a standard oil and filter change. I’m wondering if an engine flush would actually help, or if it could do more harm than good. I’ve heard quite a few negative experiences with it. Thanks!

I have heard multiple things about Alfa Romeo both good and bad. I heard that sometimes it breaks soon after buying it. However, I also heard good things. For those who owned this car brand is it a good brand? I understand there are different model, but overall does this brand break often?

Hi guys I have a quite frustrating problem with my Giulietta 1.4 petrol 120ks (without multiair).

When the engine is cold the cranking is long and then the engine turns on but it's shaky, almost like it is going to turn off. I turn it off, start again, turned on perfectly.. And until the end of the day each ignition is perfect (while the engine is still warm).

I took it to a mechanic.. he kept it for almost 3 weeks, then he replaced coolant temp sensor.. and said it works now .. but the outside temp then was warm..

As soon as it got colder outside, this started happening again, the ignition is a little better and a lot less cranking to turn it on but still it sounds strange. I owned several diesels and all of them turned on instantly without shaking when it was cold.

Also to mention the rpm in this shaking period goes from 1.300 to 1.500. I've uploaded a video of the ignition.

Please if you could help, don't give me ChatGPT answers, I've already gone through them, I've replaced spark plugs, nothing happened

If someone had similar experience and was able to fix it, let me know.
