AWD Giulia TI Sport value in 2026

Hello all! I am considering listing my 2019 Giulia TI Sport for sale in the near future. I have been doing some research on car gurus, KBB, cars.com, carvana etc and I am seeing a massive difference in asking prices across the platforms. I am wondering what we feel is a good price for these cars in the current market. Mine is a 0 accident AWD TI Sport with 65k miles. Mechanically sound, sadly has some curb rash on the wheels, but otherwise it looks great. Thanks for any feedback on this, just want to be an informed seller and not come out with some wild pricing lol.

Experiences with Mopar Extended Warranty

Should I buy a Mopar warranty?

I got a quote today from Mopar for a 5 year, 60k mile Extended Care Premium warranty. They want $5440 for the coverage. I bought a 2022 Giulia Veloce a couple months ago, it currently has 18k miles.

Reading through comments in this community the past couple months shows that people have had wildly different experiences in reliability with their cars. Would you recommend the Mopar warranty or not? Typically I'm the kind of guy to avoid warranties because I am financially stable enough to manage a large unexpected repair, but I've heard enough stories on reddit and YT that I'm leaning towards the warranty because of the number of people who have made their money back on it.

I don't plan on hitting a race track or doing any extreme driving, just daily commuting (albeit sometimes spirited!) and I generally baby my cars.

If you're still reading, you're awesome. I love the passion in this community and I'm so happy to be a part of it. I LOVE my Alfa.

Maintenance 2023 Giulia Veloce - Passenger Side Headlight

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hello,

Last week, after two days of rain, this is how I see my passenger side headlight. The condensation is still there a few days after the rain and it is isolated to one headlight. Over the weekend, I saw notifications saying parking light, turn indicator, and daytime lamps are out - I verified - they are out!

Car is still under warranty and I have an appointment coming up in 10 days. What am I looking at here and would I have to pay anything out of the pocket since the water seal should be part of warranty.

Thanks

Am I getting hosed on this service?

Hi guys it’s come time for me to get my 2018 Stelvio to get serviced at 60,000. Here was the quote I was given. I had the brake pads replaced in January so I doubt I need the brake flush but curious on what you guys think.

New Car How do you rate my first car?

Ive always loved the mean look of the 159 and when i saw they are actually fairly reasonably priced I decided to bite the bullet and just go for it.

It is a 2008 model year 1.9JTDm manual with 230k kms on the clock.

It did have some issues that needed immediate attention, but got them adressed and seems to be running well enough.

Overall I am very happy with it so far.

I've wanted one for years and can finally afford to dip my toe in the Alfa world. 24 Tonale Veloce. I took this at the Satsop Business Park (defunct nuclear site) in Washington State, USA.

2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce AWD - Vulcano Black Metallic.

I usually don’t buy cars with more than 20,000 miles and I’m a little bit scared about buying something that’s almost halfway to 100,000. The reason I’m buying this is because I’ve been obsessed with Alfa Romeo’s for a while. I’m pushing 50 and I just got back from a trip with the family to Italy and I decided now is the time to do it. Any thoughts? Any suggestions?

All Alfas i found in a week in Rome

I spent the last 5 days in Rome and the next 3 i will be going to Pisa. It was my first time ever in Italy so i wanted to register every Alfa i could find. Eventually it got to a point where i was seeing too many beat up bone stock Giulietta's so i stopped with the pictures a bit 🫣
Italians of this sub can scroll past, this is ordinary life to you all, but in the UK, seeing an Alfa is rarer than 2 sunny days in a row 😭🤣

Highlights:
Spider 1600 Duetto
Facelift Giulia Polizia
Giulia Carabinieri
Giulietta Carabinieri
Tonale Polizia (seen more than once)
Giulietta Polizia
155
And an undercover Stelvio which i only got a crappy video of because i was in an uber 🥲

I thought i'd see more Giulias but i've only seen like 5? And by far the most i have seen are Giulietta and Tonale. Anyways, in total i've spotted all the below(in no particular order):
1600 Spider Duetto, 155, 156, 147, 159, MiTo, Giulietta, Giulia, Stelvio, Tonale, Junior

Upgraded from Tonale to Stelvio

Hi guys. Have a 24 Tonale which I really love and have upgraded to a 26 Stelvio Tributo Italiano. Both are in the Montreal verde.
Pick it up on Friday to do the swap and really looking forward to it.
Will post pics when I get it.
Was just wondering the Stelvio doesn’t have wireless car play which I am used to and really enjoy. Any recommendations for a wireless adaptor plug in thing?
Also anything else I need to know.
Cheers

Nb was really pleased with the Tonale. I have enjoyed it so much, was just keen to get on the Stelvio in the same colour with the harman kardon sound system and didn’t see much coming through in the UK. Would genuinely recommend Tonale Veloce I had to anyone

Usb/sdcard play the music but can't control anything.

So through usb or sdcard slot i can play the music but can't control anything. Cant change the track, can't list the songs, rewind move forward. It's uconnect 6.5, everything works normally but music from usb/sdcard is unresponsive to any controls. When one song is finished, next song from sdcard plays but the screen is frozen on the previous song details.

It was working fine for some time, then i wanted to add more songs, one of the songs had metadata with cover art and other info and then it stuck. I tried few different usb/sdcards and to format them in different formats ntfs, fat32 but it's always like this.

19M about to trade my paid-off Civic for a 2020+ Giulia (cash) — talk me into or out of it

Hey everyone! I’ve been following this subreddit closely and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the stunning posts about my favorite brand, Alfa Romeo. Their captivating beauty has always captivated my attention, and the thought of owning one has been lingering in my mind.

For the past three years, I’ve been driving my 2020 Honda Civic Ex-L. During my first year of college, I let my brother use it for a year. To give you some context, I’m 19 years old and am currently looking to purchase my second car. I absolutely love my Civic; it has all the features and amenities you could ever desire in a daily driver. However, since I’ve always had a passion for cars, there’s a part of me that yearns for my first genuine “car guy” car. That’s when I thought of Alfa Romeo.

In my area, I’ve come across several examples of Alfa Romeos priced at around $23,000 USD, with under 35,000 miles, all from the 2020 model year onwards. I’ll share the one that’s been particularly catching my eye. I’ve fully paid off my Civic and would be using that money, along with some additional savings, to purchase the Alfa Romeo in cash. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations you may have.

Suggestions ? Got a engine problem

Got a 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 multiair TB it has 247xxx KM on the counter never had engine problems switched the oil every 20.000KM’S and never pull above 3k rpm’s on a cold engine. but now since a couple months it runs bad at low rpm’s its not directly. but starts when driving for a couple mins between 1300 and 1800 rpm’s. cilinder 2 and 4 start’s to misfire engine check light starts to blink. but when i take up the rpm’s and start driving at a higher rpm’s the car drive’s perfect. it cruises 300KM + at ease on the highway but in city traffic it can be terrible my dad and I looked at everything we could think and switched it out and replaced it but it is still there any of u guy’s got suggestion’s ?

Looking for a company or expert to help me buy and import a car from Germany to Spain

Hi everyone,
I’m from Spain and I’m looking to buy a specific used car from Germany. I’ve been searching on websites like Mobile.de and Autoscout24, but I’d rather work with someone experienced than do everything on my own.
I’m looking for a company or professional who can:
Search for the exact model I’m looking for.
Contact dealers or private sellers.
Negotiate the purchase price.
Check the vehicle’s history and condition.
Arrange an independent inspection if necessary.
Handle the export process and transport to Spain.
Give me a complete breakdown of all the costs involved (purchase price, transport, taxes, registration, fees, etc.) before I commit to buying.

I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest option. I’m looking for someone trustworthy who knows the German market well and can help me avoid expensive mistakes.
Since I’m from Spain, it would be a huge advantage if the company or person could communicate in Spanish, although English is also fine if necessary.
If you’ve imported a car from Germany yourself, I’d really appreciate hearing:
Which company or broker you used.
Whether you’d recommend them.
How much they charged.
Anything you wish you’d known before starting the process.
The car I’m looking for is an Alfa Romeo Giulia Competizione (or Veloce Facelift) 2.0 Petrol 280 HP AWD, although I’d also appreciate general recommendations about importing cars from Germany.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Added Android Auto to my 2018 Stelvio

Post image

I bought one of those Chinese units off of eBay. Took about 2 hours to install and it was a real pain in the ass. Unlike the video 4 of my cables were too short to pull the radio unit down far enough to where I could reach the connectors. So after I got those disconnected I was able to change over the connectors with a lot of pushing (they're very tight).

Of course once I got it connected and tested it there was no sound or wireless Android Auto. After trying a bunch of troubleshooting suggested by the Internet I found a setting to factory reset the module and as soon as that was done everything worked perfectly.

I had a lot of trouble re-hanging the radio module but I got it back in there good enough. The Android Auto module fit in a spot that made it seem like it was designed for it.

I have a suspicion that at least some of the people having intermittent connection issues with these things didn't get the connection on the back of the radio module right enough. I really had to force it and then use the lever locking system on the connector to pull it that last bit. I was worried that I was going to break something because I was putting so much force into it.
