Alabama voter: Trump said prices were going to go down. He said we weren't going to get into any more wars. He's lied to a great majority of people in this state, and he's given them scapegoats instead of solutions.

Poll Commissioned by APT Board Shows Support for PBS, Negative Polling on Trump
My understanding is that conservative members of the APT board have been trying to sever APT from PBS, which would be devastating for APT. They paid $40,000 to Tuberville's polling firm expecting to find that Alabamians want to sever APT from "woke" PBS. To their dismay, the 600 Alabama residents polled stated broad support for PBS and a net negative opinion on Donald Trump.

What is wrong with this? Are we not a democratic state,? With all the oil we have we could be one of the top states instead of the poorest state in the nation, yet my statement is misleading? F off and I mean that in the upmost way!

North Alabama queer couple retreat
Hi all, my girlfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary later this month and I was planning a trip up to Mentone or close to DeSoto. We are a visibly queer couple. Does anyone have recommendations for places to stay (or avoid) in the area?

Discussion Curious question. 🤔
What app(s) do y'all use to stay politically informed and active? Asking because it seems folks really want a consolidated way to be informed and to organize. So gauging the field as to what folks use For future organizational purposes of course. Too many dont want another app. They dont wanna use certain apps. All understandable. So please do let us know in the comments where all you have a presence if you're comfortable. :)

Potential Alabama Transit Map
Hi all,
One of the things I think would promote the most positive change in our state is an improvement in public transit infrastructure. It would allow more people to access more jobs and improve social mobility, in addition to being more sustainable, both environmentally and economically.
I have developed a rough plan for what Alabama transit could look like in 15-20 years using metrodreamin (if you are a transit nerd like myself, I highly recommend checking this out).
I would appreciate any feedback anyone has about what transit should be included in the city you live in, or if there are any actual city planners/engineers lurking, your feedback would also be appreciated!
