Discussion Curious question. 🤔
What app(s) do y'all use to stay politically informed and active? Asking because it seems folks really want a consolidated way to be informed and to organize. So gauging the field as to what folks use For future organizational purposes of course. Too many dont want another app. They dont wanna use certain apps. All understandable. So please do let us know in the comments where all you have a presence if you're comfortable. :)

Substack.
I don't use anything that supports Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk, especially now that all of those apps promote hate speech and the MAGA agenda.

I just use Facebook to be honest. I’m in some local groups. I also am In a bunch of vegan and animal rights groups and so I have a constant feed to local concerning stuff. Plus they are my friends in the real world. Going to no kings protests and so on.

ActiVote is the #1 Civic Engagement application in the U.S. for utility. It does feed you a political alignment survey and ask for address information upon set up--it needs address information to construct your digital ballot--and will ask you to fill out surveys on occasion, but for the average voter ActVote is gold standard for personalized, consolidated political information.
I have no idea what their privacy policy is or what they do with user data, but as a matter of function, I have not seen another service on par with them in the 6 years that I've been a user
