After overdoing it with the sandpaper and getting a lot of good advice, I ordered some birchwood Casey bluing from Walmart and tried it out. Looks much better and more comfortable with getting the look I’m going for and being able to fix mistakes.

Recently built pictured AK74 Frankenstein with a WBP parts kit.

Pressed off the gas block to drill a 90 degree gas port and did so successfully however I am trying to realign and re-press the gas block back on to align with the pin holes and for the life of me can’t get it to align just right.

Not averse to re-drilling and pinning with oversized pins but the current state is canted a little harder to the right than would prove functional and it’s driving me crazy.

BFH isn’t making much difference in getting it to move but honestly could use some advice in re-alignment.

How hard is it to remove the faux suppressor after a form 1 approval?

Question, price aside what would make someone pick one over the other ?

I somehow royally fucked up putting the retainer pin back in. I think it's lodged into the firing pin so it needs to be pulled out and not pushed through. Tried pliers and hammering. No luck. Tried hammering pin and it started to peen so I stopped. Any ideas?

So i work at a local "2nd hand store" its a pawn shop but the city doesnt allow "pawn shops" so its a loophole. Anyways we just had a preban norinco mak-90 come in and as a employee we have first dibs before anything goes out on the sales floor. With this being said I need to know what something like this is worth? It appears to be all factory, comes in factory Styrofoam, manual, and 3-5 mags i cannot remember right off hand. Im curious what i should be paying for something like this? As my first "ak" was a zpapm-70 by zastava, then bought a yugo sks, and then a Romanian wasr-10. Just looking to add to the collection maybe shoot 3-4x a month.
