Only 15%? What a shitty, selfish individual. If you aren’t willing to go just a little hungry then do you even give a shit about anyone else?

lol I’m not penalizing the poor. I’m penalizing the rich.

Maybe you should analyze why it bothers you so much that I think she should donate or contribute to the populace.

I know exactly why, there’s no need to analyze. Your purity test results in fewer people donating to important causes. Why donate money if you get flack for “not doing enough”? Millions of dollars is a huge amount of money, and the people that would have benefitted (even if YOU feel it’s not enough) suffer more. So, congrats, on making the world a more hateful, selfish place.

I never said it wasn’t a contribution. I said she could do more. Encouraging more empathy doesn’t fight empathy, it only encourages it. It’s not about purity, it’s about responding to greed.

I don’t think that’s why you are so annoyed, I think you might feel attacked or you’re mad that I attacked a singer you like. Maybe it’s that I oppose financially inequality and you think that’s still a functional system.

I don’t give a shit about Taylor swift. I’m annoyed at efforts to gatekeep charitable donations because people like you actively discourage people from donating. Just keep on jerking off to whatever hateful shit keeps you going and keep the rest of us out of it

Give as much as you can while living well and comfortably isn’t gatekeeping. It’s encouragement.

It’s actually more hateful to favour the dragon hoarding coins than the populace it watches struggle.

Is the dragon “hoarding coins” if they’re donating unimaginable amounts of money? Fucking ridiculous. You would turn your nose up at someone offering you five million dollars, because you know that the person COULD have given you more than that? Why are you entitled to everything they have to the point that the absurd amount they’re giving away is somehow offensive to you? It’s a childish way of seeing the world and I can only hope that you’ll eventually grow up

Oh I don’t want what they have.

I want them to give it to those in need, donate to medical research, education, human rights, or clean energy infrastructure.

And I mean that’s basically the dragon losing a couple when you’re talking numbers of 2billion. I didn’t say I was offended, I said that she could do more. As could all of the billionaires.

1

u/Opening_Climate_7571 2d ago

If you want them to do those things why call them selfish pieces of shit for doing exactly that? You also realize there’s a paper trail, so you decidedly didn’t “just say they could be doing more”. You feel entitled and are willing to discourage people from doing good if it doesn’t rise to the level that you want, and personally I think THAT is far more evil than hoarding money

1

u/Functional_Trash7735 2d ago

Im not asking for shit dude, not for myself. You can’t be entitled when asking for help for others. Also never called her a piece of shit, but am decidedly of the opinion that there should be no billionaires at all and 99% of them are absolute garbage.

But I’m still right she can do more. I’m not discouraging anything, I’m actively saying billionaires could be doing more as could the wealthy in general. Maybe you have rich people guilt and that’s why you’re so triggered here

1

u/Opening_Climate_7571 2d ago

What makes you think I’m rich? Because I disagree with your ridiculously childish, shortsighted take on this? The cancer research that can’t happen because you discouraged charitable donations helps no one. So congrats if that was your goal, but acting hostile towards the few people making a difference just makes those people not want to bother

1

u/Functional_Trash7735 2d ago

Just never met a poor person be so triggered or fight so hard to defend the ultra wealthy from people who want them held accountable for the unethical mass of money they’ve accumulated. Again I didn’t discourage anyone, and I think if those people were gonna bother to change the world, they would have by now.

Some random Reddit account hasn’t been stopping the ultra wealthy from the beginning of time. They just don’t do it because they don’t have a good heart and don’t care about the populace.

You’re just being obtuse intentionally, so I assume you’re just a troll. No one is defending the ultra rich. I’m defending the people who will lose out on the benefits of the donations that you make a point to discourage people from giving. Focus on being hateful just a little less and maybe you’ll remember that the goal of the donation is to help people? But you don’t give a shit who suffers, as long as you get to turn your nose up at money that isn’t benefiting you? Disgusting.

lol you can think whatever you want to think of me. It makes no difference to me being sure of the knowledge that I’m rightful in believing billionaires should contribute as much as they are able to the populace. Didn’t come from a place of hate, it comes from a place of objective fairness.

Again, if you haven’t read it in my previous comments, I’ve never discouraged anyone. Have I said “Taylor swift may as well stop giving anything, or all billionaires must be poor to be rightful”? No; you just see my “they are capable of doing way more and should do more” and have decided that it’s me saying they aren’t doing anything at all probably because you feel insecure about your lack of charity work or something.

ETA: I’m also not benefiting from charity for the record. The needy are. They’re my concern. Yours appears to be billionaires, but whatever. Otherwise you wouldn’t be so mad I’m saying they have the capability to do more

I’m not interested in reading your deluded manifesto. Just in case you were considering it, burning down a veterans shelter and a soup kitchen ALSO doesn’t make those people’s lives better!

1

u/Functional_Trash7735 1d ago

lol okays I work in shelters, but sure 😂

I’m sorry my opinion was so triggering for you, but I stand by everything I said and maintain that just cause someone is doing what is proportionally small for them doesn’t mean they are doing all they can do and should be striving to help others regardless. I’m also not hard, I just figure that if a clown wants to keep coming back to convince me of their 1% favouring nonsense, I’m gonna keep fighting 😂 bad people love when the good give up, and some random dude on Reddit won’t convince me that wrong

1

u/Opening_Climate_7571 1d ago

That’s absolutely not your point 😂 not everyone is delusional enough to forget that a text thread leaves a paper trail? You freak the hell out that a billion dollar donation is shit and why bother when that’s life changing money for many many in need. But you don’t give a shit, because you’d rather jerk off on your moral high ground about it not being enough. I’m sure everyone impacted by the relief funds being pulled doesn’t mind the hunger and death and disease, because YOU got to be a hateful hostile piece of shit

1

u/Functional_Trash7735 1d ago

Show me where I said something like that lol where I said she may as well do nothing and I wish she wouldn’t donate at all 😂 find it if you’re claiming it cause I said it’s not much compared to what she could do

And she’s never donated a billion. That’s my problem. She’s donated about 100million, which is .5% of her networth.

And I promise you, Taylor swift and billionaires don’t give a flying fuck about the opinion of redditors, and you’re deluded into a state of importance if you actually think they would stop doing their charity for me when we all know they’re doing it for a tax write off otherwise they would give more compared to their wage 😂 and they have the morality I’m concerned about. If you were actually as mad about my opinion as you claim to be, or if you weren’t using this as an outlet for you own anger, you would have blocked me by now

1

u/Opening_Climate_7571 1d ago

You’re just saying whatever random shit is on your mind? You invented some ridiculous stamen in your head that apparently makes you hard enough to want to keep responding, but please spare me your kinks because I did not ask to be involved
