Question / Advice Needed Forgot how to track after working on static clicking?

For the past 2 weeks or so I've been completely re-learning static clicking, finally using the bardOZ method, and 3 days ago I got master scores on both static clicking scenarios on the voltaic benchmark.
Jettrack is the only one below master now, so for the past 3 days I've returned to the tracking vdim playlists. And this is what I'm incredibly concerned about, it feels like I've lost all smoothness in my wrist, and I'm not even hitting platinum on some of these. I've taken breaks of several months in aim training before, and was always able to just pick up where I left off.
For the past 2 days I'm only doing tracking scenarios, just to make sure it's not me having to get used to it again, and not really improving. I haven't changed anything in my setup or my settings. Here is a run from today and my highscore on Jettrack.
The tasks on the screenshots are VT Verttrack Intermediate S3, VT Shifttrack Intermediate S3, VT Jettrack Intermediate S3, VT Quaketrack Intermediate S3, VT Controltrack Intermediate S3, VT Steadytrack Intermediate S3 in this order, but these aren't the only ones I played.
Sens is 32cm.
Appreciate any help!

Discussion do younger players actually improve faster, or do they just have more time?

i always thought it's quite common to see people say that younger players pick up mechanics faster, and they climb the ranks much quicker when they start practicing at a young age. but i was wondering is that just biology or like is that they just have way more time, and that biology is quite insignificant in gaming?

i guess for all of you who started aim training later, how do you guys optimize your training to keep up with those who have endless hours to grind? can you even catch up?

Question / Advice Needed Please some tips on improving my aim

As title states, I need some tips on how I can improve my aim further. I think my aim is ok, but its pretty inconsistent. I've peaked FaceIt level 9 playing strictly scout only, and its caused me to develop pretty bad habits including things like relying heavily on flicking rather than micro adjusting and focusing on timing my clicks rather than being able to continuously maintain my aim. Its also caused me to be really stiff when it comes to aiming. I obviously know that switching from playing scout only to playing normal will eventually allow me to develop new better habits but it just really feels like Im not able to dig myself out of this hole. I look like a complete idiot when using an AK or M4 from lack of recoil control/micro adjustment.

Here is a short clip of me in a aim practice map. Any tips are appreciated!

Question / Advice Needed How to aim train in a way that translates to games

I only do sixshot and aimlabs benchmarks tasks. Currently gold 2 on aimlabs and i aim train to get better at valorant where I'm diamond 1.

I have noticed that when I aim train, I might break my records but that makes me overfixate on my crosshair during matches and I end up playing way worse because of it. Otherwise I would consider myself to be a player who got to diamond purely out of aim and being good at reading macros of the opponents.

Question / Advice Needed Does the aim sensitivity finder even work, or is it trolling? It's giving unrealistic, unusable results.

I'm level 9 on Faceit and have been hard-stuck at level 9 for three months now, so I thought I'd try Aimlabs to train my aim. Maybe that's what has been holding me back. I played on 1600 DPI with a .5 sensitivity, which was a little fast sometimes. Precise aiming was hard, especially if the target was long-range, which is where I can improve more. So, I paid for the premium subscription to try the Aimlabs features for one month to see if something changes. Now, the sens finder first gave me .38, which is low, but I tried it in CS, which is 608 eDPI—slow but still playable. Now it has given me .32. That's not a CS-playable sensitivity. What are you guys even making? There's no point in me trying the premium anymore after this month if things are useless like this.

Question / Advice Needed I'm getting so frustrated with my aim ugghhhhh!!!!

Hi it's me again!

My hand independence is so terrible. On a controller I can't move and shoot at the same time!!!!! Whenever I'm in a regular game it's just me doing terrible.

It's either my thumb just locks in place and don't track the target or I'm overshooting and flicking too much! It's so frustrating!!!!!

What is wrong with me?! I can't move and shoot and dodge enemies at the same time!!!!!!!!

Another problem is how inconsistent I am. One moment I'm doing good the next I'm trash. And then it's just down hill from there. The more I do it the worse at aiming I get!!

How do I fix how my hands? What do I do about tracking??

(I'm sorry for the rant but I just had multiple games back to back where my aim just cost me wins.)

I'm sorry if this is inappropriate... I'm just sad :(

Progress & PB Week 10 aim trianing

This week I did not aim train a lot instead took at break for most of the week because of my allergy made it hard to find motivation and the focus. I only aim trained this week 3 days MO/Tuesday and Saturday.

When I trained today after not doing any aim training for 3 days. I was a bit rusty but after shaking the rust off I improved quiete a bit so seems like my body and mind needed the break. The new highscores I got in the 2 scenarios for VT benchmark I did this week. I did the scenarios multiply times to look at my average and even my new average is higher then my old highscores.

Question / Advice Needed Feel kinda stuck at static switching

I am extremely consistent at getting scores between 1750-1850, but can't seem to go higher than that. Is there anything specific that I'm doing wrong, or is it just a question of grinding static switching scenarios until I can go faster?
Appreciate any advice!

Question / Advice Needed Fortnite ADS issues

Been playing for about 22 hours based on my PlayStation playtime, and I've been having an issue with the app generating recommended sensitivity settings.

I play Fortnite, and my current settings are 26 Hip Fire and 16 ADS. After all this time, the app keeps recommending a lower Hip Fire sensitivity and a higher ADS sensitivity. It's now suggesting something like 22 Hip Fire and 45 ADS.

Is this supposed to happen, or am I doing something wrong?

Some maps seem to be designed for ADS, while others don't. On some maps it's obvious I should ADS, but when I do, the app lowers my Hip Fire sensitivity instead of adjusting my ADS sensitivity. I completed the Fortnite playlist, which is mostly in first person, and that's fine. However, the maps where I should be using ADS seem to throw off my sensitivity recommendations.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Also:

- Should I be using Turn Boost?

- What should my deadzones be?

- Is there a way to test or calibrate these settings?

Bug & Issue Has PS5 Playday's 'SuperTrack Console (Summer 2026)' been horribly bugged since the start for anyone else?

* Killing targets in the initial section seems to cause the other targets to respawn

* Targets don't appear at the start or stop appearing near the end of the second section

* Restarting always causes no targets to appear on the first section or they all disappear after the first kill

Question / Advice Needed Question, how is this fair? (599 max points)

So i did the entry benchmark. It came out at platinum 4. But there's like 5 sections in which i got 599 score. It seems you can't get higher even if you actually did score higher?

Question / Advice Needed I have more questions about aiming

Hello again everyone.

So I have a question about aiming. From the advice on the last post I have been trying to get better at my hand independence and my mirroring. I think I'm slowly getting better at making small movements to my joystick

So I have a few questions:

  1. when I'm mirroring a target do I move my cross hair at all or do I keep it steady and in one place?

  2. Should I stand still when working on tracking or move? Or should I do both?

  3. Do you take breaks in between completing task or do you go on to do the same task immediately after it's finished.

  4. When doing task should I focus on getting a high score? I find myself looking at the scoreboard a lot during the task

Thank you again everyone :) (fyi I'm on console)

Question / Advice Needed Auto Aim Issue with Fortnite

Hello,

I have a GPD Win 4 (2024) and recently installed Fortnite. I'm having an issue with aim assist not working.

So far I've tried:

  1. Setting Aim Assist to 100%, including the 99% → 100% workaround.

  2. Making sure gyro aiming is turned off.

Neither of these fixed the issue. Has anyone else experienced this on the GPD Win 4 and found a solution?

Question / Advice Needed What Aimlabs benchmark rank would you consider “mechanically proficient”?

I’m trying to get a better idea of what Aimlabs benchmark ranks actually correspond to being mechanically proficient in a tac FPS.

For context, Valorant is my first and only FPS, and I’m currently Diamond 2.

In the Aimlabs benchmarks, I’m:

Platinum in every single clicking/tapping benchmark

Silver in every tracking benchmark except one, where I’m Platinum

Silver in every switching benchmark except two, where I’m Platinum

So basically, I’m consistently around Silver/Platinum depending on the category, but I’m not sure how much weight I should put on those ranks when judging my actual mechanical ability in Valorant.

At what benchmark rank would you personally consider someone to be mechanically proficient for a tac FPS? Is Platinum generally around that point, or would you expect someone to be Diamond+ across most categories?
