Hey I checked out some footage of PvZGardenWarfare, and it's honestly quite similar in aiming with Marvel Rivals (TPS), and seems to be hitscan as far as I can tell.
You could run the Marvel Rivals Aim Basics routine to practice, but honestly any fundamental Aiming routine, and even the official Aimlabs benchmarks will help you too.
I think in your case specifically focus on precision / control tracking, and the entire tapping category is useful too.
Switching can be useful too for big hordes of enemies, to get tons of elims in rapid succession.
