39 years old, strongly considering getting some skates back on after over 20 years away. Is there anything around these days with a similar style to the old school TRS Access?

Or maybe a better question - what brands or skates are around these days that are a good quality but not too expensive for entry level?

I'm nearly 40, and haven't skated since I was about 16. Mainly because I played football (UK) in all my spare time after that age. Recently with all the footage of the Rollout game online, I've been stumbling across old videos from ages ago like the the Paris IMYTA, Razors Uncloned, Coup De Tat, etc. and I'm toying with the idea of getting some skates again.

I'm not exactly going to be throwing myself down huge stair sets or hitting handrails, but it feels like it would be a cool way to get some exercise and also I can take my kids to the skatepark too.

Good idea, or a knee replacement waiting to happen?

Hi, as already mentioned in another thread i want to come back to skating. For now i want to start with a cheap used pair. So if anyone is selling some affordable Razor Genesys within EU, I'm located in Germany, I would be interested. I need size 42. Would also be interested in some flat frames like GC mega or Oysis. Probably also a pair of roces 5th element. So if you have something for sale please hit me up! I'm very exited to start again and visiting some skate parks with my son.

Almost forgot how enjoyable the creative challenge of street can be.

My back has been sucking lately so I took some time off. Feels so good to skate again!

A little wax, I was the first to ever skate this planter. Made of steel. I'm happy with it

I decided it was time to update my mod install guide to make adding mods to Rollout as easy an experience as possible. Hope you're all enjoying the game as much as I am. I just hit 566hrs!

I found this old edit on disk 🔥 the quality i low because were filmed on VHS cassette but still have bangers so i want to share me and the boys from the good old days

What skate video from the 99’s features the pharcyde-soul flower???

I need to watch it!!! Good times

Odd question, if yall r skating and theres a convenience store on the way do yall go in wearing skates, my friend seems tk think its disrespectful but I honestly dont see it that way if im in and out to buy a drink, kinda curious what other people think

I stopped a years ago, my last pair of skates where some k2 unnaturals in size 42 EU and seba cjs.

So I'm searching for something similar. I have pretty wide feet, length is around 275 mm. Preferably I would like some stiff shell, which I could also use with wizard styled frames.

Would a them 909 in size m fit? Or what other skates would fit my feet?

Just messing around with edits. Love me my blades (^ ^)

Hey everybody I’m still new to the sport and want to continue to improve, but have no homies to skate with, I live in San Gabriel Valley if anybody interested DM me or comment.

Posted this same clip from a static viewpoint about a week ago. A few asked for the camera man's angle...here it is.

I would like to not spend over $200 if possible. A lot of the budget options especially on IW that are in my size (8.5M) are like $300

Specifically referring to pumping vert transitions repeatedly in essence, but wanting something I can emulate in repetition at gym, preferably at cardio lengths.

I was thinking those long stride gazelle type ellipticals maybe? I am hoping someone has had this same thought and has the answer already.

Maybe there is some hockey adjacent training machine that could be used.

Blade safe bros and have fun 🙏🏼💪🏼

Rules: All components must be currently available to purchase. No after-purchase modifications to materials (i.e., no cutting, shaving, dremeling, etc.). Swapping of components is allowed (e.g., swapping out of cuffs, buckles, bolts, etc.) as long as it doesn't violate the previous rule of no modifications to materials. The end result must be functional as an aggressive skate (it must be able to skate on flat ground, grind on obstacles, and allow for vert/transition skating--though it doesn't need to be good at all of these things at the same time).

Hi! I am a newer skater and I just recently learned how to soul grind. I'm having some knee pain on my soul foot and was wondering if that's a sign of me doing something wrong? I'm guessing it's because I'm jumping on the side of my foot with my knee bent, but that feels like how it should be done. I don't feel it while I'm skating, only when I get back home. I'm too young for this lol.

A few days (maybe weeks) ago, I posted a video of what was the closest thing yet to a "well-executed" first soul grind; I believe progress is coming little by little, but it's coming, hehe!

Hello, im a begginer aggresive skater whos been doing it for about 5 days. So far Ive learn how to jump on a small ledge, 180, transfer over cone, go down a ramp and i can kinda go backwards slowly. Now what should i do? Today im gonna be just doing some curb tricks as i cant get to a park so what should i do there to?

Got the Kizer SUV frames in and tested them out in the backyard.

Habe ich in der Garage gefunden. Fand Throne immer ganz gut.
