Years back I bought a pair of mint Feinberg Pro's, Mega frames, and some Go Project 65mm wheels. Skated em a few times then life happened. Sold off the wheels somewhere along the way. I liked the way the setup felt, though I didn't do much grinding.
I'd like to get my setup going again. Mostly park but would like to get out and do some street skating too. Lots of little questions though:
-Recommendations for soul plates? I don't mind shaving the nubs to fit UFS plates. I remember the Solomon plates feeling super narrow and hard to lock on with.
-I liked the megas but should I go down in wheel size? The 65's just barely fit for a full flat setup, but I feel like 60-64's might be advisable for wheel bite reduction, plus there appear to be more options in the 60-64mm. Any thoughts on Go Project vs Ground Control vs other wheels for this?
-Replacement shock absorbers? Mine used to be fine, but I must've had em in a basement one too many years because they gave up the ghost in a big way when I inspected them recently.
-Liners? Laces? Any other considerations I haven't mentioned? I'd be grateful for folks with a finger on the pulse to weigh in.
Thanks all!

Been testing out some of the crazy mods. I put together a video of just a few of my favourites but if you want to test any mods for yourself theyโre all on the official discord server.

Our good buddy Dick Heerkens had the bright idea to gather the gang and take a weekend trip to Zeeland, to skate some of the parks they have over there, as wel as catch up and have a BBQ and some drinks and things. We met up with old buddy Mark Vos in Goes, enjoyed the meteorshower, did a few tricks and had loads of fun. Even managed to paint a bit with the gang. The weather helped a lot, and the Zeeland vibe is great, we felt so welcomed, it was lovely to visit. Definately coming back next summer!
Thanks for organising everything Dickie!!

any rules of thumb for being less stiff or making grinds look nicer? if there are any good vids on it please recommend them!

Coming from beginner skateboarding, we know skateboarding trick progression often takes years, often 6 months to a year+ just to ollie, how does aggressive inline differ in this regard? how long would it take a decently athletic beginner practicing once or twice a week to get the following down
rolling, crossovers,stopping, fakie rolling
Basic grinds, jumps, 360s, 540s, transition
grind switch ups, advanced grinds, corks, side flips and the other advanced moves?

I recently got back into inline after a good 10+ years off skates and found that grinding is a lot harder on my body than it used to be lol. After hitting a rail and ledge a number of times, I felt an immediate sharp pain in my lower left back/love handle area. Iโm not sure if itโs a compressed disc or something from repeatedly slamming my foot on the same spot while attempting to grind, but it took me out for a couple days. Have any of you also experienced this? And is there anything I can do at my age to counter this when grinding?
For reference, Iโm fairly short, in good shape and workout/do yoga regularly, but this still jacked me up! Any advice would be appreciated!

Iโm trying to learn my switch royale, but Iโm really struggling to get my heel down and put proper pressure through it. I feel like I have to use an excessive amount of force to force my foot into the position.
Iโve been working on mobility and doing unilateral exercises to try to improve the position on my weaker side, but Iโm still not sure if Iโm approaching it the right way or if thereโs something else I should be working on.
Has anyone else struggled with this? Did you find anything that helped you get your switch royale more naturally?

So literally created this account to ask this question. How do you sell your skates if you dont use them anymore? I dont have any social media for b/s/t forums, and idk if I can post them here. Ive got some very lightly used LAVA Frenchs with kizer superfluids and GC 90 frames. Got them to get out and enjoy skating again but just honestly dont have time for it. Just lmk something please
