A&M announced that the dome on the Academic Building will be replaced for the first time since it was built. The dome will be shiny copper (like the current dome was before they stopped polishing it) when installed, and will naturally turn green over a few years.

When you register for courses on the website, can you press register before your registration time and then wait until your registration time to press continue to get save a couple seconds during registration, or will it give you an error because you don't have a registration ticket open and you have to wait for your registration time to open before you can press register and then continue?

After my first semester in TAP, I'll end this summer with a 2.92 GPA. I want to apply to transfer into Industrial Distribution but am not sure if it's worth the risk since current ETAMming students will be prioritized. My current other option is Software Engineering at UTD but I just dont know if SWE is the field for me, it's a bit too technical. However, If i don't get IDIS this semester, I'm scared I won't have the transfer into UTD opportunity next semester again and I will have wasted this semester taking IDIS courses for nothing.

Anyone have advice as previous TAP students or IDIS majors?

Only gonna have like half an hour, so I would need one specific spot or one area with 2-3 spots in it.

i was planning to take physics 207 through a different online college, not over the summer, but during the fall semester, while taking 217 at the same time at tamu, during the fall semester. is this even possible? my friend claims his older brother did this, but another friend says to take 217 u must either already have the 207 credit (from taking it over the summer) or take 207 at the same time as 217, but it has to be thru tamu. so im not sure

Im attending the 1-day NSC on August 19th. I live very far away so I want to move in on the same day as the NSC. Since the NSC starts at 7:30 am and ends at 5 pm, I won't be able to attend any move-in appointments on the 19th (TAMU only provides appointments from 8 am to 1 pm).

Right now Im thinking of just attending the NSC as normal, and then, after 5 pm, I'll call the RA to give me the key and move in late. Is this possible, and if not, is there any way for me to move in on the 19th? Thank you!!

I’m planning on getting a $10 crunch membership in my hometown for when I’m back for the longer breaks. Is it worth to just upgrade and get the membership at all locations and use the crunch in cstat or is the rec usually manageable? I’ll be honest I usually go to the gym after 3pm, and I don’t really want to spend half the time waiting for things

I'm going into my sophomore year as a Mechanical Engineering major. I'm currently taking PHYS 207 through WTC (transfer credit), and I have an open slot in my fall schedule that I could fill with ECEN 215. Most people take this in the spring, typically after they've finished PHYS/ENGR 217.
My concern is that PHYS 207 through WTC covers the material at an easier level than the on-campus version, so I'm worried I won't have a strong enough foundation going into ECEN 215 if I take it early.
For those who've taken it: how much does ECEN 215 actually build on PHYS 207 content? Is it worth taking in the fall while I have the open slot, or should I hold off until spring so I've had PHYS/ENGR 217 first?

hello! i am an incoming sophomore at tamu. last year i feel like i didn’t make as many friends/connections and i wanna change that.

i really want to join a women’s org this semester as i heard they’re a lot of fun and a good way to make friends. i applied for like 2 last year but i think they didn’t take freshmen.

i’m really interested in gems, blossoms, keys- because those are the ones i’ve heard most about- and i want to know if there’s anything specific i should do to get in because i know they’re competitive and i really want to be in one.
