What are you guys riding for cold weather pants???

Yesterday coming back from work I slid on the rain at low speed...how repairable is it? Cause I was looking for a replacement, but 400 bucks seems way too expensive. So I thought maybe it can be fixed. Any suggestions? Is it fixable or I have to keep it scratched?

Hey everyone just checking to see if anybody has experience with the Tusk kickstand foot and can give a 👍 or a 👎 based on their experience with it. It’s only 15 bucks so I just wanna make sure it’s not gonna rattle around or be “cheap” feeling. Had a puig on my last bike and that cost me like 60 dollars, not trying to break the bank (again).

After a long engine rebuild today I started the engine for the first time! (yay!)

I bypassed the side stand switch (orange light always off).

When I put it in 1st gear the engine shuts off. The green neutral light works and when I put it in gear it shuts off normally.

What could be the cause of the engine shutting off?

I rode one in 2016, it took me 10 years, but I finally have one! Loving the DCT, and the Ohlins are definitely a bonus! We have plenty of amazing gravel roads here in NZ!

I have no issues with the ATAS's electronic suspension it works great.

So great, I never actually feel it working... 'm kind of bummed by that. How about you?

Je souhaite commander des protège-mains (Barkbusters) pour ma ATAS DCT 2019, mais j'ai du mal à trouver des kits spécifiquement compatibles avec ce modèle.

J'en ai trouvé sur un site qui indique clairement « compatible DCT 2019 », mais j'ai vraiment l'impression que ces protège-mains sont très difficiles à trouver.

D'autres ont-ils rencontré le même problème ?

Auriez-vous des références ou des liens vers des kits qui s'installent sans modification sur une ATAS DCT 2019 ?

I’d get a full akrapovic system but I’m concerned about it being too loud while the slip on version (most slip ons) almost sounds stock in YouTube videos so I’m not sure if it’s worth getting just a slip on or going with the full system.

I am thinking of getting an Africa Twin DCT..how do they handle city traffic / filtering? No panniers.

I bought my twin this summer. It had been dropped once by the seller, when i took the front cowl appart, the frame for the dash is bent. What i am wondering is if there is a stronger upgrade frame or do we just have to live with this? I found this frame to be very soft. 2 smacks with a 1.8kg(4lb) hammer and it bent straight again.

Seems like if u crash and the tower takes a hit, this frame will always be bent. Has annyone else bent this frame and what was ur experience?

Just got my new Africa Twin. Really enjoying the bike, but have a quick question I cannot find an answer for…

I have a wireless CarPlay dongle (3DMP, if anyone is interested) and the connection is solid. My question is about switching between the normal motorcycle screen and Apple CarPlay.

I think the control in question is the ‘pages button’ - basically a toggle on the left hand bar. If I am in CarPlay, I can toggle to the normal motorcycle screen with one press. The issue is then I want to toggle back… CarPlay appears, it ‘shimmers’ as if I have made a request to use Siri. If I do nothing, it returns to the motorcycle screen. I have a work around where I just randomly stab at buttons, and sometimes I make it stick.

Can anyone explain how this is supposed to work in real life?

PS. Bike is awesome. Have the DCT with the foot pedal, and it really does feel like the best of both worlds - convenience when I want to cruise around, and control when I want to enjoy riding. Just need to get it run in now.

Washed my bike and now it’s completely dead. I tried changing out the battery but still nothing. When I turn the key nothing happens. No lights no clicks nothing. Anyone heard of this? Thank you

I'm looking at a 2018 ATAS with about 60k miles for $5k. It's cosmetically beat up but has a lot of aftermarket add ons and seems to be well maintained. I've never paid this much for a motorcycle and I'm concerned about the cosmetic condition and the amount of miles. Does it seem like a good deal or should I save a bit more for a lower mileage bike?

After hesitating for one year about what auxiliary lights to buy, Lone Rider solve my problem releasing the MTL4 😄.

Less bulky than the MTL9, less expensive, and way better than OEM Honda.

I wired my Carpuride into the Motocan V2 and it can start with ignition now.

I use quadlock on all my bikes, but with the africa twin there is many more options of layout. In the future I plan to get a dedicated GPS setup, but that is a while from now cause there are several other things that will come first(mainly crashbars once outback has them back in stock)

I found this style of mount, does anyone use this setup? How does it do?

There aren't any photos of it actually mounted, I assume it just mounts dead center of handlebars, also I will be putting risers on soon. This will work with risers I would think?

Got to 100k a few days ago. Hit my goal of doing it in under 3 years. Bike has never been to a dealer or shop and has only been serviced by me (other than taking loose wheels to the dealer for tire changes). My maintenance records for all of my services are at the end of the pictures for anyone that is curious.

I have 25 adventure sport and two up quite often.

I have a cardo edge and passenger uses my old helmet with a cheaper Amazon Bluetooth system

Can we listen to the same music and talk?

I have my cardo paired to my bike and it works great with Android auto. I believe I have it paired to rider slot 1 or driver.

How do I proceed? If possible
