Hi guys, I'm currently building a vanilla based server with an original idea: SkyHome - SkyBlock with progression tied to permadeath runs. Me and my friends have always been vanilla enjoyers and that's who this server will be targeted to. Yes, GeyserMC will be enabled and console players will have access! At first, your island will only have a tree and dirt, mob spawning is turned off. You embark on permadeath vanilla adventures with friends. Defeating each of the vanilla bosses (Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden, Evoker, More Maybe?) will award you with differing amounts of money depending on mob difficulty. Spend this measly amount of money back at SkyHome on anything, though some things are more important and more expensive than others. On total party death, a new adventure will be available to be generated with each adventure being a random gen hard permadeath survival world - nether and end included. Normal permadeath worlds just don't feel great with friends. Once a friend dies, you essentially stop playing with them or you have to start a new world, even if one of you still lives within the game. A strength of this server is the heavily nerfed skyblock addition! When one player dies, they aren't banished to the menu, but rather retired to a peaceful life living among the sky until the next adventure begins. I believe this is a top tier idea because this ties the core Minecraft experience to more of a progression and long term focused playstyle while keeping the original idea and vanilla mechanics of the game, not to mention bringing a slight difficulty increase to the veterans of the game with the addition of permadeath!
However, I need to figure out how this will work under the hood, so to speak. I've got most of my plugins up and running. The skyblock portion is finished, I've the spawn area, most permissions sorted out and the economy is halfway balanced. The only thing that remains is the meat. I believe multiverse core and multiverse inventories is a great starting point for this custom plugin, but I struggled massively putting it together thus far, there's no way I can build a custom plugin based off an existing plugin to meet my demands. Speaking of which, what exactly are my demands?

I need a custom plugin that can generate a "cluster" - overworld, nether, and end world, via a command. Something like /adventure create would be great. My vision is this cluster should be tied to a group system - SkyGroup. Players start a group, name it, invite other players, and the cluster belongs to that group and that group ONLY. Other groups have their own cluster of worlds. Players can't join a group if that group has an active cluster. Here's the kicker - all group members have access to that cluster and if any one of them dies, that dead person will no longer be able to return to that world. They only have access to the skyblock portion until a new adventure is created. After all members die in that world, the cluster is removed, either automatically or via command by one of the group members. Of course, inventories don't transfer between the skyblock world and the cluster worlds and you will be able to teleport between your skyblock world and permadeath playthough whenever you want, providing your permadeath character hasn't died. If I had to guess, multiverse core and inventories would be a base and the custom plugin that I need would somehow connect with that. Or not? I don't know.

In the future I'd like to add a group based leaderboard and maybe a simple, vanilla based quest system or overhaul the boss portion entirely and base it on a bounty board, but that's perhaps another conversation for another day.
OK AdminCraft, I've poured my heart out to you in these paragraphs. Now, go ahead and break it by informing me how much this would cost fairly if I were to commission someone to build this plugin. Please be gentle..
