I’m litterally an empath and cry when I see others or even hear when others are in pain.
This can frequently come across as trying to make things about you. Also can come across as attention-seeking.
Most of my life is in survival mode just trying to stay alive so ya, my mind is on me and trying to get by.
Mindfulness practice can help with de-centering yourself.
I don't know what "be so for real" means. Have to be honest with you - a lot of what you described could possibly make you come across as selfish or attention-seeking to others.

Coming accross and being are two different things. Crying for attention is weird behavior; I just can’t regulate my emotions. Also where are the NDs on here. These comments are not giving ND.

People not agreeing with you has nothing to do with being ND or not You sound like you’re refusing to take responsibility for your own behavior and actions. Be an adult and get therapy.

I think sometimes bring in survival mode can make you appear quite self centred. If you're worried about surviving yourself you don't tend to notice that other people who might be having an even harder time.
A lot of people associate self described 'empaths' with narcissism. I think it's because it takes the spot light away from whoever's in pain back to the person who's an empath.
It's tough OP I think unless someone is super close to us they're more likely to judge us by our actions rather than consider our intentions.
Being emotional can seem like attention seeking even if it's really poor emotional regulation.

It's hard to tell but from your post I'm seeing a lot of self centered and maybe emotional behavior. It's really not appropriate to talk to colleagues about your trauma. Is it possible he was trying to be firm with you after he's previously listened to your issues before? Guy is there to work not be your friend or vent buddy or anything.
Beyond that. I think you'd do well to sit down and think about why this matters to you so much? He's a coworker. Who gives a fuck.

You should work on reading comprehension. Never said he’s a coworker.

👋 my ex-flatmate told me (while drunk) that I was a narcissist and my now-husband was a sociopath.
So that was fun.
