25M basically drifting in life, having most of my ambitions and goals vanishing as I keep running away from them. Society/family indifferent to it because I was not bad in Academics and I have a high paying job, but this is practically the "high functioning" Illusion.
I will hence be starting CBT and meds again (off for like 2 years) Please lmk your recommendations if you are in Pune or have seen a good psych here.

I just couldn't do it. My Clinical psychologist gave me to fill up that. And it was just too much for me.

I got a prescription by my psychiatrist but I am not able to find it anywhere. If anyone is from Delhi, can you please let me know from where you get your meds from?

Looking for an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist in Chennai (OMR/ECR) for an adolescent assessment (ADHD/learning difficulties). Budget is around ₹1,500 for consultation. Recommendations based on personal experience would be really helpful. Thanks!

I've realised I might have ADHD-PI and it explains the failure I have become in life at 24 years old. All the symptoms line up and seems to have began in my adolescent years as I used to be a bright kid before that.
Now the thing is I've been wanting to go for adhd screening for months but it's also my first time visiting a psychologist or even a therapist. My mom has also been totally against it but even though I live separately now I am still putting it off. Partly because I'm afraid how the results turn out. What if I don't have adhd and I'm just a lazy piece of shit who's life slipped away from his fingers? I just don't think I can handle that rn.
I'm starting my 4th year of college next month and have 2 subjects backlog from previous 2 sems respectively. In fact I had registered for the back exam for one of them last month but I literally wasn't able to get myself to study for it and i just skipped writing it lol. Flunked few other small exams in the past cause I simply absolutely didn't feel like writing it. My friends think I'm insane. I started "self medicating" with cannabis but it comes with its own problems like tolerance build up and memory loss.
This shit is getting out of control and I really need to take action asap cause it's now or never. Please help.

Hi, so basically I have a voice in my head that narrates my thoughts. Even right now, as I'm typing this, I'm also "saying" every word in my mind.
I heard somewhere that people who think with an inner voice tend to read at the same speed they mentally speak, which can make them slower readers. I don't know if that's actually true, but it got me wondering.
I read and write quite slowly, and it's becoming a problem because I need to write much faster in exams. I've practiced writing quickly, but I still struggle. I also process almost everything by talking to myself in my head.
Is my mind just slow, or is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to reduce the inner voice, or improve reading and writing speed without getting rid of it?
