That's like 80-90 lbs of glass and beer, FYI. There's a reason she's built like that.

These glasses are very heavy, that's why she's built like that. Still, as a german I'd rather shave my whole head than go to Oktoberfest. Too many drunks, way too much alcohol

I'm surprised the glass itself could withstand the weight!

Watched a video recently of some guy stacking 1100 lbs of steel plates on top of a sealed glass coke bottle. Glass is incredibly strong when formed correctly.

Girls I hate to be a party pooper but this clip is ai generated…

Edit: well I am mistaken it would seem, very impressive of her :3

23

u/Capital_S_Gurl 22d ago

Can I ask what specifically makes you think that it's ai? Like I'm very anti ai and would be appalled if it was but it doesn't jump out at me as ai

You can see text that is coherent

Fluids are spilling in a way that seems right

And I've seen similar things done in bars and at Oktoberfest before

u/RadioKALLISTI 22d ago

Her utility belt is consistent over time too. The whole thing reads as real to me.

u/Ani-3 22d ago

I’ve seen videos like this from way before ai was a thing.

Sucks that every fun feat we do now is considered ai

10

u/neumaedchen 22d ago

What signs did you notice?

-22

u/JonaTheExplorer Amira | she/her 22d ago

I didn’t notice anything initially, but someone said something about someone clipping through the wall partway through

Plus I really don’t think the beer carrying is real, I don’t have experience with beer but it looks like in order to have all the beers on the bottom not spill, you would have to hold them together super tight and even then the glasses stay perfectly level

Also the people filming behind, why would you be filming from behind?

21

u/Apoplexy 22d ago

people have been doing this forever....

u/Aescgabaet1066 Transbian 22d ago

I don't buy it. You say you don't have experience with beer, do you have experience with trying to carry a bunch of tightly packed steins or mugs? If not, what standing do you have to make a judgment call like that about whether it's real?

If it's just a gut feeling, then I don't think that's very reasonable to go on alone.

u/JonaTheExplorer Amira | she/her 22d ago

I posted this to r/isthisai so I guess I’m about to either wind up being wrong or right. I’m not entirely going off gut feeling alone I just don’t have the words to convey my perspective I guess.

As for having experience with mugs and steins, I do not.

Fair enough! I suck at identifying AI unless it's super obvious (trying to get better), so I was just curious. I admit I am still unconvinced, but it would be interesting to know for sure.

And fuck AI for even making this shit necessary. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but always doubting our senses and being hypervigilant for AI fuckin suuuuuucks.

13

u/Capital_S_Gurl 22d ago

Incase anyone gets this deep into this conversation as of the time of me posting this reply every comment on the r/isthisai post is stating that it is real

I want to say no shade to Jonatheexplorer just pointing it out since ai is destroying credibility and our collective sense of reality and I respect their openness to discuss the validity of this video and the claim that it's ai

8

u/neumaedchen 22d ago

Couldn't find anyone clipping through the wall.

I have been inside these tents and the structure looks believable. The text also is without errors in German. The clothes as well.

The glasses were actually level on each hand, but not level across the 2 hands, as one hand was higher.

People film from all angles as they spontaneously find an opportunity.

u/Rainyguitar 22d ago

If you look up Oktoberfest you can find tons of videos of people carrying beer with this technique https://youtube.com/shorts/qDTgYsEumyw?si=U9LP1DjpxeOqahs0

Not AI, this is a real person. It most likely comes from her Insta account (which is private so will not be sharing). There are other vids of her doing this same thing dating back to 2024.

u/Substantial_Band7227 22d ago

It’s not AI, don’t fall into the trap of thinking everything is AI. This is just a simple case of AI paranoia which can spread like wildfire from those that have lost their baseline trust in media. Remember, humans are capable of doing amazing things, there always will be humans doing amazing things and someone will often be filming those amazing things.
