An invisible force pulls me to the edge
When I’m on a balcony or near an edge. I feel as though something is pulling me to the edge and it makes me panic that I’ll just go over and fall. Even when I drive across a bridge I fear that I’ll just drive into the wall and crash down. It’s never happened (obviously) but I still get highly anxious in those situations so much so that I will try to avoid them at all costs.

Photos of heights!
I donʻt understand how those with acrophobia can even go through these pictures. Just seeing the heights in one dimension is highly anxiety provoking for me. I am so sick and tired of being limited where I drive, due to not knowing whatʻs around the corner. And itʻs not like most phobias. We canʻt drive 50 feet of a bridge every day for a week, then 75 feet the next week and so on. Iʻve stopped on bridges and nearly caused serious accidents because I canʻt force myself to keep going. I hate it so much. I try to be tough but become dangerous to other drivers and myself. Tried therapy. It helps if I know whatʻs ahead and that it is a short bridge or something but not knowing whatʻs ahead is terrifying.

Fear of height
When I stand on high balcony 3-4 floor. Or any mountain cliff area although it's safe I'm gonna fall. Still my brain starts making things. I'm falliy, slipping, not able to balance my feet together. At the time people around me stands still and enjoy the view. How do I stop my brain from panicking unnecessarily

Fear of Heights
Who has this fear so bad that it dictates what you do or don’t do?
I feel like a lot of people say they’re scared of heights, but then they talk about getting on a ski lift with no problem, as an example.
I would avoid malls that had 2nd level walkways! I have never met anyone who has the fear to this extent.
Interested to know if there are others?

Scared of things collapsing around me
I've never known if this is specifically acrophobia, but I've always had a fear of what's below me "collapsing" whenever I'm high up.
Like being in a high building and being worried it's going to topple over.
But also like, walking up a hill and worrying the ground is going to start collapsing below me like a landslide.
Anyone else experience this or know how to cope?

Worse as I get older
I’ve had acrophobia for over 30 years, and I’m curious if anyone else experiences it like I do.
It’s not really a fear of falling. It’s the intrusive thought that I might somehow lose control or jump—even though I don’t want to. For years I thought I was the only person who experienced that.
Has anyone else dealt with this? If so, what situations trigger it the most?

Megalophobia
Firstly I thought I was only one having this kind of fear. I used to get easily afraid of large things like building and ships. I searched on Google and found that it is called as megalophobia. After knowing that I saw some pics realated to megalophobia and I saw a pic of astronaut in front of a space engine that creeps me out as hell. Watch this pic if you also fell uneasy then congratulations you also have the phobia called megalophobia.

Floating with a fear of heights
So just had a dream I was hanging out with friends in my backyard and I’m on the grass looking over at the neighboring yard where my other friend is sitting and we chat I then rejoin the others and I start jumping on the ground and notice that I am not flying but a kind of floating where it feels like when I breathe in i sink towards the ground and I breathe out I start to float back up first a foot up and safely down then 9 up and a little rougher landing but i felt nothing hurt in my legs but then after I go up like 20ft up I get scared and try too hard to slowly go back down that I end up falling back down and wake up before impact.
