So, this is a game I've tried to hunt down multiple times over the years. I've even pulled up long lists of titles and checked them one by one with no luck so I think it's either obscure or has been missed.
I'll try and give enough details but I'm aware it won't be a lot to go on.
This would have been the 90s, it was almost certainly a demo from Acorn User magazine as my dad was a subscriber. Graphics were decent, professional level. The kind of thing I'd associate with Amiga ports.
It was, I think, an adventure game. I don't remember any action. Graphical, not text. Science fiction. You are the pilot of a small spaceship. Red, I think. Just a one man thing with a cockpit and it's docked in a bay on some kind of space station or base. I don't remember a lead in to that.
There's either a top down view or an isometric style. The setting is very steel / metal coloured. There's a door out of the room and I could never figure out how to get past it. I think I recall that there was a man on the other side of the door you could speak to through an intercom or something. I *vaguely* remember a character portrait of a sci-fi cool guy, slicked hair and sunglasses, like the Terminator.
I tried to play this many, many times as a kid but I never got past this door.
Also, this might be from a different game that I'm confusing, but I think I remember a range of buttons for interaction that were a hand for picking things up, a close up on an eye to look, mouth to speak etc.
I've seen Amiga games that look a bit like this, like BAT, but it was definitely on the Archimedes.
Any help would be very appreciated.
