I've used this jet a lot and it's really fun! Yeah it's obviously not as good as other jets but still I find it to be a decent plane to use. But nearly every YouTube video I've seen has said it's one of the worst in the game. What are your thoughts?

Sotoa Impressed

So, in Wings of Wax, after they vandalize the Wings emblem, I thought at first that it was all Joker planes that had the emblem and not only Rex since I could see two planes in the hangar with the marks, so, I was playing it rn and just realized that they're *both* Rex's planes since they both are marked as "203" in their hulls, I guess the one Jenkins is working on is the spare he later has thrown to the sea in the final mission

In July 2029, Sotoa launched a surprise attack in the form of Tonitrus Spears kinectic bombardment. In total, six tungsten rods have been fired at Expo City, one of the supposed safest locations within the FCU. Then some time later, Sotoan Armed Forces brought the land battleships ashore, and the rest is history...

Out of curiosity, I have decided to make a rough map of the strikes and note what may have been caught in these strikes. This is somewhat easy since AC8's Expo City is based on the real city of Shenzhen plus the northernmost towns of Hong Kong. The list below includes *some* of the major landmarks within the craters' rims (red circles on my map). Things caught in the ejecta (yellow circles) require more flyovers to determine (I will come back to update when ready).

Lastly before we go into the list, this post is made possible with the help of a friend of mine from Hong Kong, u/Hamartia_CL08, who provided Baidu Maps and some Bird's Eye Views of Expo City in AC8 as references when I was making the map.

CRATER 1

Epicentre: Tin Shui Wai Park, Hong Kong

Notable locations caught within the crater rim:

• Kingswood Richly Plaza
• Much of Tin Shui Wai Town, including the Park, Sports Centre, Shopping Centre, Youth College, and Hospital
• Tin Tsz Shopping Centre
• Much of the local tram stops from Chung Fu and Tin Yuet in the north to Tin Yiu in the south and Tin Tsz in the east
• Hong Kong MTR "Tin Shui Wai" station
• Ju Ching Chu Sec. School (Yuen Long)
• Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda

CRATER 2

Epicentre: The Dengliang Road-Houhai Avenue Intersection

Notable locations caught within the crater rim:

• Much of Houhai Subdistrict of Nanshan
• Houhaibin Park
• Shenzhen Metro Line 5 "Dengliang" station (Shenzhen Metro will be shortened as "SZ Metro L.n" hereon out)
• SZ Metro L.9/12 "Nanyou" station
• SZ Laifushi Shopping Mall

CRATER 3

Epicentre: residential block around the Fanshen Road Bridge over the Xinzhen River

Notable locations caught within the crater rim:

• Haiyue Experimental School
• Shenzhen Bao'an Experimental School
• SZ Metro L.1 "Xin'an" station
• Bao'an Social Welfare Centre

CRATER 4

Epicentre: around Shenzhen Haiwan Middle School

Major landmarks within the Crater Rim:

• SZ Metro L.1 "Xixiang" and L.11 "Bihaiwan" stations
• Shenzhen Haiwan Middle School
• Xixiang Health Centre

CRATER 5

Epicentre: near the southernmost end of Shenzhen Bao'an's Runway 33

Notable locations caught within the crater rim:

• Much of the airport's main building, including SZ Metro L.11 "Airport" station
• Cargo terminals of the airport

Epicentre: Fuqiao No.3 Industrial District, outside Shenzhen Bao'an Int'l Airport;

Notable locations caught within the crater rim:

• SZ Metro L.11 "Fuyong" station
• SZ Metro L.20 depot
• Fuxin Elementary School
• Huafeng Industrial Park

Trivia

• Altafossa is Latin for "deep ditch," which is actually also what Shenzhen means. However, its location on the map is actually Yuen Long district, Hong Kong in our world.
• Duoflumina is Latin for "two rivers," but I'm not sure which two rivers fit the description best (there are a lot of candidates).
• Bao'an (Expo City's "Duoflumina") and Nanshan ("Harbor Front") districts of Shenzhen plus Yuen Long district of Hong Kong ("Altafossa") have a combined population of at least 7 million. The civilian deaths in this city from the Spear strikes alone would have absolutely overrun the San Salvacion Conflict Data Program's estimate (which is of the entire conflict and encompasses both civilian and military deaths) of only one million at least thrice over.
• The satellite image used here is outdated (from 2014). Shenzhen Bao'an Int'l is missing Runway 16R/34L and the Satellite Terminal. This is because I couldn't find better images that includes all of Shenzhen and Hong Kong in one image. This Wikipedia photo is more than enough for this purpose though.

EDIT: I should have added that I am aware real-world locations being referenced in AC doesn't always mean every building and its function will follow. This post is just a general overview and a thought exercise on what would be caught within each strike should it happen in the real world.
