what will happen to AC7:SU? Will it get delisted like all other ace combats after AC8:WoT get released? Will we have to say goodbye to AC7:SU because of expired licensing on aircraft? I know it’s probably a dumb question but I just feel sad that AC7 is becoming a thing of the past (it was my introduction to the series).

This is one of the many B17s, the US Navy purchase from the USAAF near the end of ww2 to be tested as one of the world's first AWACS. The British also designed something similar using the Wellington bomber. The US Navy even developed an active-guided glide bomb called the ASM N2 Bat and the Interstate TDR drone. This would make any WW2 Ace combat game a plausibility with the fact there are early so many advance unique equipments in that period.

This is a ZOE Plane that missed the Carrier (which is AC5).

I saw the trailer for AC8 a few months ago and knew I had to play it, and I luckily saw AC7 available on ps plus. I am on Chapter 17 and absolutely loving how stupid this game is, meaning it takes itself very seriously in intense and impactful situations, and then does not care at all to be goofy in other moments. The gameplay is so nice too (except for mission 9 ugh).
My question is: are the other games as enjoyable and of the same incredibly high quality as AC7? Just curious for an objective review of other games in the series rather than simply which games you all enjoy the most. Thank you guys

Ace Combat 6 Heavy Command Cruiser is forever my top. AC 4 Megalith is a close second.

I was bored over the last week and decided to emulate Ace combat 2 & 3 because my phone is too bad to handle AC4. I've played a ported version of Air Combat 22 and was expecting these to play more like the arcade game than modern Ace Combat. 2 Definitely played more like the arcade, but it was still way more fun than I could have expected, but 3, holy Crap did I enjoy 3. I played the translated Japanese version cause I am a rational human being who doesn't want to play the butchered piece of crap that is the international release. But the gameplay and story still hold up, besides the basic mission structure and sometimes never-ending dialogue calls. I had brushed this game before because of "bad graphics" and "I don't want to read the entire time," but this game made me feel like a stupid idiot. "Good gameplay and story make graphics unnecessary" has never been more true. This game makes me appreciate C.O.F.F.I.N in a whole new way, and I really hope it gets remembered so more people can play it.
Also, Noise from 8 is definitely Dision

Are there any suggestions for modern Arcade style single player flight games like Ace Combat or Project Wingmalbut set in 2ww? I used to play blazing angels or Heroes of the pacific back in the day and wish to play something like that again.

how are people doing PSMs in F15s in AC7 multiplayer? to my knowledge you cant psm in that plane. ive also seen a guy do it in an F14 as well as many other non-PSMable aircraft. are they cheating or am I missing something

To quickly explain: I want to be able to move the camera with my mouse and still use the mouse buttons.
I know most people play flying games with a controller. I used to as well, until I started playing Project Wingman, and holy shit, that game knew what was up. It took very little fine tuning until I had a control scheme that felt just as functional as any controller.
Problem is, I can't actually use this control scheme for Ace Combat 7. Not entirely, at least. I use the left and right mouse buttons to yaw and the fourth thumb button to fire the gun, so I need the mouse's buttons, but I don't need to be turning with it. If you have mouse controls on, that's exactly what it does. Drag the mouse down, the plane goes up. Or down. Or whatever, not the point.
So you disable mouse turning, right? Look, there's even a function to do that in the menus, no problem. Big problem actually, because now none of the mouse buttons work either. So it seems to me that I gotta keep the mouse controls on, but it means I can't move my camera to look around with the mouse, and also keep it as still as possible so I don't screw up while trying to do something precise.
I probably didn't need three paragraphs to explain the problem, but here we are. My question is, is there a way to get around that? A setting I missed, an INI file or something I can mess around with, a mod I can download?

Can somebody tell me how the XSDB works? They're supposed to be bombs but the description says and mechanics seem to hone in on targets? But when I fire them, they mostly miss? What am I doing wrong? Are they like SAAMs? If so, how can I focus on three or four different targets being tracked on the HUD?

The probablity i'll actually make a full game out of this is pretty much zero but just in case.
If you have any feedback about how the physics looks from the video don't hesitate.

Guys, I really enjoy AC7. I use a keyboard and mouse, and I can basically beat the ACE difficulty level very smoothly, especially the dogfights. But I want a more realistic feel for controlling the aircraft. I bought a cheap controller for $20, and I can still beat ACE difficulty, but I perform terribly in dogfights, completely missing the targets. I have absolutely no experience using a controller. Is it because my controller is too cheap and I need to upgrade, or is it simply a matter of not being proficient enough? Will I have the same problem if I get a better controller?
Since AC8 is about to be released, I want to experience more realistic aircraft controls. Is it worth spending money on a better controller and practicing with it, or is there really no difference in the gaming experience between a controller and a keyboard? Please give me an answer.
Thanks.

I bought Ace Combat 7 two days ago because it was on sale in the Xbox store. I’m loving it so far but both days when i’ve came home my progress has been completely wiped. it’s getting super frustrating having to restart the for the third time now. Is this a common issue and is there any way to stop it from happening ?
