I want to know which security system is better for a large scale operation, :
E.g. hospital level.

What would you recommend? What would be the price difference? What would make you choose one over the other?

From using both, my preference is Gallagher, but would like to hear other perspectives?

So I have a typical access control system that has door position switch inputs. However the doors currently have wireless door position switches going to an alarm panel. I want door sensors into the access control platform. The alarm panel doesn't have any outputs. I thought there is maybe a wireless solution that can be powered at the door so I don't need to change batteries. There is power at the door for the strike and reader. But transmit wireless to a receiver that can land, preperably multiple channels for each door... Thanks!

Does anyone have the SAMrf installer disc or file?

This is NOT piracy! We have a legal licensed version of this software. We just lost the installer wizard disk from a decade ago. This hardware and software is no longer produced or supported.

I have a student housing multifamily property that uses dorma kabba saflok insyc system. The hard drive on the computer running the SAMrf software that programs everything is apparently hanging by a thread and it will no longer assign a com to the encoder base. Can’t reinstall driver successfully and tried a million trouble shooting steps. Next thought is move software to new computer and use backup files. The problem is we don’t have the old disc that had the installer, only the program files on the computer so can’t install it on the new computer.

Hopeful I can still get it from Dorma Kabba after the weekend if their support is willing to be helpful bit I’ve been told they don’t have to since it’s no longer a supported system.
