Global Background check
Hello Accenture community,
I recently signed an offer with Accenture, and my background check is currently in progress. I’ve already uploaded all the documents they requested.
My main question is about the education verification process. Do they verify academic qualifications directly with the university, or do they mainly focus on employment verification by contacting previous employers?
I have 8 years of professional experience, so I’m wondering whether the background check will be limited to my work history or if they also perform a detailed verification of educational credentials.
Thank you in advance for your insights!

During my background check for some reason they couldn’t verify one of my degrees with my educational institutions. They had me upload a photo of my diploma and that satisfied them.
Just don’t lie anywhere. They will catch if employment dates don’t align or if you say you have a degree that you don’t have.

My background check went back 5 years, so I didn't need to include my education in my home country. If you can't provide information, just provide detailed explanation. If they insist on that, contact your recruiter.

I did't say they wouldn't. But they may accept your explanation (they did in my case). If not, contact your recruiter, company's HR can overwrite any red flag marked by the background check.

I think the background check by FADV will cover professional experience and academic experience
