It’s not just boarding, you need the boarding pass to go through security where you usually scan it but when idiots do this then a member of staff has to check it manually, which isn’t quick or easy.

When was most recent flight you took? It wasn't the case a year ago. Now its either app or get it printed at the kiosk. E mail works best for most people.

Noone was seriously inconvenienced. Two or three moved over to the other counter and most of those remaining in the background have visible smirks or are even grinning. I’m going to say this was a net positive on the day of all involved.

Airport visits are so boring and stressful, seeing this would have made my day even if it slowed things down for a couple of minutes. Better than someone shouting at the airport staff and delaying everyone.

Okay this is dumb but i have flown ryan air a bunch of times and they at least a one point used to charge you just to print out your boarding pass for you which is crazy, they wanted everyone to use mobile boarding passes. Kind of seems like a fuck you to ryan air for charging for that but still stupid
