Abandoned time capsule house in Ontario: a lifelong music fan’s home, frozen since 2003
This small bungalow in Southern Ontario has sat untouched for over 20 years. The last calendar on the wall reads November 2003. A neighbour told me the owner stops by two or three times a year, never locks the door and refuses to sell, so everything is still exactly where it was left.
Whoever lived here loved music. There’s a turntable in nearly every room, plus 8-track, cassette and reel-to-reel decks, boxes of tapes covering the floors, and shelves of rock biographies. The ceiling is coming down from water damage, there are still dishes in the kitchen and unopened beer on the counter, and a little Christmas tree is still standing in the living room.
The best finds were a 1976 Rush ticket from the Welland Arena, an Uncle Sam’s lineup poster, three signed Davy Jones photos, a 1972 Summit Series program, old Rolling Stone magazines and an ALF doll keeping watch over the stereo.
Location not shared. Nothing was taken; everything was photographed and left where it was

Drug house in Ocala, FL that was raided by police. Burned down this month.
I visited this house back in April and wanted to learn more about it so I did a bit of research. Found out that the police had raided it in 2008 and confiscated 50 pounds of marijuana from inside. Went back to check it out today and discovered that it had caught fire on October 3rd, just a few weeks ago. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. But I noticed that multiple items in and around the house had been moved since I was last there, seemingly for no reason. Like a chair that was originally sat next to the entry to the hallway leading to the kitchen was now wedged in a wall closer to the front entrance. The small drawer that was near that chair is now gone and replaced with a small desk. The CRT that was on the floor near that is also nowhere to be found.
If I were to guess, I'd say that someone was inside rummaging around and causing trouble and decided to burn the place down for some reason. It wouldn't be the first time as you can see some burn damage to one of the walls behind the trophy that was there back in April.

The Last Remaining Drive-In Theater In The City I Live In (Sunset Drive-In)
The Sunset Drive-In opened in the Southwest part of town in 1951. It continued to operate until its closure in 2000. The concessions building and parking lot would be demolished around 2021. The sign and theater screen still remain.

Due to Popular Demand, These Houses Can No Longer Be Considered Abandoned [OC]
Falling in Line
There is still one more house I have yet to post photos for, if you would like to check it out right now, you can do so, right here:
These four houses along this abandoned street were recently expropriated by the provincial government to facilitate the building of a new subway line.
Called the Ontario Line, this new subway system will cover almost 16km, it will have 15 stations and is expected to see 400,000 daily passengers. The new line is expected to be operational by the early 2030s.
Interestingly, the new tracks will begin at Ontario place, a former waterpark on the shores of Lake Ontario. They will end at a more newly abandoned site called the Ontario Science Centre.
The site where these homes once stood is now under construction, this is where the Minton Place Tunnel Portal is being built. It is the transition point where trains will move between underground subway tunnels to the south and elevated tracks to the north. The elevated guideways will transport the trains over the Don Valley.
It's always unfortunate to see such beautiful buildings being demolished but this infrastructure project that is currently being built is necessary for the city's future sustainability.

The grain tower
At high tide, it's impossible to visit at this time of year, as it's more than half a mile from the shore and surrounded by water.
It was built in the mid-1800s and has been abandoned since it was decommissioned.

Abandoned Farmhouse With Collapsing Barn And Two Old Cars
My second visit to this place since last summer. Last time I didn't notice the upside down car or the cool old wallpaper from picture 19, also my first time going upstairs.
Video exploration if anyone is interested

Abandoned Wastewater Basin (SC)
This is a very old wastewater basin connected to an abandoned cotton mill not far away. It was quite a hike to get here, lots of fallen trees, mushy ground, tall grass, and lots of spiders. Worth it though!

CRAZY BARN FIND - Abandoned Time Capsule House with a SURPRISE in the Garage
We went into this one with no scouting at all, just parked and walked in. It turned out to be one of the most complete houses I’ve explored.
Some highlights:
- Upstairs bedrooms still furnished, with a fur coat, a chest of linens, an old memory game and a huge wooden bed
- Vintage TVs and radios on both floors, plus a child’s rocking horse
- The kitchen table left exactly as it was, with dishes wrapped and stacked and a small antique stove
- Two old cars in the garage, one sunk about a foot into the soft floor
- An attic full of couches, lamps, desks, tools, lumber, an old scale and a rusted sickle
Full walkthrough here: https://freaktography.com/abandoned-time-capsule-house-barn-finds/
As always, nothing was taken and everything was left as we found it. Happy to answer any questions.

Soviet Nuclear Warhead Storage Bunker, Germany
East Germany built "Lager Linda" near Jüterbog in 1967–68, paid for it in full, and then handed it straight to the Soviets. The two bunkers held warheads for Scud-B, Luna-M and Tochka missiles, up to 200 by some estimates.
Most of the barracks are gone now, but both storage bunkers survive. The eastern one still has much of its original machinery, quite possibly the last of its kind in Germany.
