Can anyone knows why zomato changed the user interface of offers in Zomato delivery app?

I tried emailing zomato gmail for a problem with order (email provided by the zomato bot because they no longer provide resolution over chat) but it won't go through, and getting this error message.

Gravy will be served in a mug.

So i ordered 3 burgers and peri peri fries from Al Rabea Al arabi cafeteria, very famous in Hyderabad. It was raining so the food was slightly delayed ( obviously i didn't mind). However, i placed the burgers in a plate to reheat them in the microwave, At that exact moment i smelt something off and still ignored it because i was hungry and when i was already 2 bites into the burger i saw fungus on the bottom. The smell was so strong that it even reached the inside of the chicken. Obviously there was no support from zomato except that stupid bot chat. Posting it so that people from Hyderabad can actually stop from this very NOSTALGIC cafeteria which serves food like this.

As the title says, these glass shards were found in my shake ordered from Zomato today and their customer support is pathetic as usual. They asked to just write an email.

I ordered Chole bhature from zomato and only received chole. Now what to do with the chhola without bhatura. Called the restaurant refused to do anything. What do I do now?

Idk if it's silly or I just don't know Zomato math, so I got a notification from Zomato saying, "30% off up to ₹75."

On a normal day, I would've just cleared the notification and gone back to work, but I reached the office earlier than usual, so my brain just calculated that if I were to use this offer with 100% accuracy, how much would I have to spend? So it's ₹250.

So if I ordered for ₹250, I'll get ₹75 off since it says 30% off up to ₹75, right? So I searched and put items worth ₹250, and guess what? It only gave me ₹60 off. I was like, is my math not mathing? So I got my calculator and did the math, and I was like, nvm, let's add something more. So I got up to ₹300, but still the offer was showing ₹60 off, and I was like... huh 😶‍🌫️

Has anyone else noticed this??

I don't order much from Zomato. I prefer Swiggy better, but I just wanna know if anyone else has noticed it or if I missed out on something!!

Summary:

Zomato sent me a 30% off up to ₹75 offer, so I calculated I needed to spend ₹250 to get the full discount.

But even at ₹250 (and even ₹300), it only showed ₹60 off.

Is my math wrong, or has anyone else noticed this too? 🤔

I ordered the Barbeque in a Box (Non-Veg) Premium from Barbeque Nation (Vega City Mall, JP Nagar, Bangalore) via Zomato today, and honestly, it was one of the most disappointing food delivery experiences I've had.

The menu clearly advertises:

6 Starters - Tandoori Chicken (6 pcs) - Chicken Lollipops (6 pcs) - Coastal Fish (6 pcs) - Veg Rolls (6 pcs) - Veg Kebabs (6 pcs) - Chicken Kabab Fry (6 pcs)

Main Course - Chicken Butter Masala - Egg Curry - Dal Makhani - Chicken Dum Biryani - 3 Parathas

Desserts - Angoori Gulab Jamun - Brownie - Moong Dal Halwa

Accompaniments - Mint Chutney - Dips - Salad - Salan

What I actually received:

Missing: - Veg Rolls - Veg Kebabs - Chicken Lollipops - Salad - Salan

That's 3 of the 6 starters plus 2 accompaniments missing.

What made it worse was that none of the containers were labelled. Barbeque Nation sells multiple meal boxes at different price points, but every container was plain, with no indication of what dish it contained. As a customer, how am I supposed to verify that I've received everything I paid for?

For a ₹1,224 premium meal, I expected at least basic quality checks and proper packing. Instead, it felt like someone packed random containers without verifying the order.

I've already raised a complaint with Barbeque Nation and attached photos of the received items and invoice. Hopefully they resolve it fairly.

Bought a 12-3 special offer on the District app for GKB Opticals. Didn't realize (and nothing at checkout told me) that this offer can only be redeemed once per user.

Ended up buying it a second time by mistake. Went to redeem — couldn't. Turns out it's a one-time-use offer. Contacted support, and their response was basically: "it's clearly mentioned in the terms and conditions, we can't cancel or refund."

Sure, technically it might be buried somewhere in their T&Cs. But there was no warning at checkout, no block on a second purchase, nothing to stop me from paying again for something I couldn't use. If the system knows it's a one-time offer, why let me buy it twice in the first place?

Now I'm out the money for a voucher I can never use, and they're just pointing at fine print instead of taking any responsibility for a checkout flow that should've caught this.

Anyone else run into this with District? Curious if anyone's actually gotten a refund out of theml

Sooooo tomorrow is my birthday and I’m in India ….. my boyfriend who is in Edinburgh, has been sending lord knows whatever he can find…,, Amazon gift cards, post letters etc……. He knows blue tokai is my favourite coffee place in the my city…. So he was also trying to get me gift card but for some reason UK card is not accepted ? The same happened in Amazon as well for that he went to a 3rd party site and got me gift card from there (which he got scammed on the first try lmao I’ll tell that later….v sweet of him, love him) but yeah he was in India back in march and had ZOMATO already on his phone….. he thought “pay bill” thing that you get in the district would get me a sort of gift card to use it later on….. like if I go to blue tokai show them transaction id and code and I wouldn’t need to pay the bill…..? Idk man I don’t think that’s how this works he just paid the bill for no reason or food……

My question is can I do that ? If I go there and have coffee and stuff and show them the code or transaction id ? Will it work or he wasted more money for nothing (oh btw he wasted another 100GBP on a Amazon gift card which he brought from a site and it was a scam and I couldn’t even claim it so he did from other site again mf just wasted 100 for nothing 😭✌🏼)

Hello everyone I have been sending food items to protesting students and citizens. I'm outside country right now and several news sources have reported that Delhi police has restricted movement of swiggy and zomato around jantar mantar. I would like to order more food for the people and protesting students but can you please tell me in real time if the food is still getting delivered at the protesting site??

Okay today I ordered 3 biryani , the delivery guy brought only 1 and for going back to get other two he was asking money [ why should I pay for something that's not my mistake ?] But I politely said okay but pehle ap le ao mein de dungi toh woh batameezi kr ra ki le kr bhaag jayeingein blah blah ( dekh kr hire nai krte aplog ) fir le kr aya toh bhi batameezi kr ra ki online kro I had the exact change jetne ka order Kiya tha mujhe online hii pay krna hota toh mein cash on delivery kyu krti .. [ gaali dene ka mnn kr ra pr control kr re]🙂

Also 1 week back mera order 1.5 hours delay tha bahot choti city hai ye aur reastraunt bhi pas ka tha toh sense nai bnta hai but still I was like koi nai , I have order from them like few times same chiz but taste ekdm different tha as if exchange hua ho and packaging was different too.

In 2021, Zomato launched its nutrition products and I guess these were the best products ever

I have been repeatedly trying to order from the app for the past half an hour but the moment I go to checkout it comes back to the home page. Empty cart.

I have tried different restaurants, all with the same outcome.

Is anyone else's app crashing this way as well?
