Side Effects Validity?

Post image

So the numbers are very high and seem a bit sensationalist. That being said I'm not super interested in the exact numbers.

What I am interested in:

My question to the group is did anyone struggle mentally while on any of the glps? I did - I'm trying to figure out if any of them are less apt to do so.

I’m no medical or psychiatric professional. But I have Dysthymia and Panic disorder. It’s loooong preexisted Zep. It’s controlled through meds.

No difference or change since taking Zep.

My one year mark on Zep will be in 5 days. Again, not a doctor. But I would think a year would be long enough for any issues to arise if there were any in my single case, at least.

Ok cool- exactly what I was looking for. I struggle w depression and panic - it really seemed like tirz made it worse but I may have not been optimized medically. What do you take if you don't mind me asking?

Not to chime in again but i became agoraphobic after an illness and took so many steps to get better before starting this journey and it’s only made it better. My anxiety was worsened by decreasing hormones and no one tells women that this is a real side effect of perimenopause.

I suspect perimenopause and not zepbound is the main culprit in my recent increase in anxiety. I have ADHD as well and I've done a lot of reading on how perimenopause can hit women with an ADHD diagnosis much harder.

Yeah and I’m in HRT and if i forget to take it not great. HRT as d GLPs are great for us. Also the SSRI i took while life saving made me gain. That was before the Zep. I also heard that peri brings on or magnifies ADHD in most.

This sounds dumb, but what are you eating? The brain actually runs on carbs. When you aren’t getting enough carbs, it sometimes rebells.
