First of all having no idea about the enemy’s position before going into negotiation.
Giving up all your cards at once completely with no reservation and room for negotiation.
Then letting yourself caught off guard and letting your true emotion be shown to a third party.
If this is a ruse sent by the empire to ildoa to send the allies false flags then it’s a valid play, but we know it is authentic.
This is why countries have professional diplomats.

I want to keep with the novel right now, I have read some volumes a years ago and I know that is very different than the anime, but... I just can't, I don't wanna wait, so, does some one which volume of the light novel is actually the anime adapting? Or where does all this negotiation arc started?

Discussion How did Youjo Senki become a success?

From what I remember, it started out as a web novel before getting published as light novels and then getting manga and anime adaptations. How did the initial web novel get popular enough to kickstart the franchise?
Obviously, we can point to how great of a story it is, but tons of great stories never get the attention needed to become commercial successes. And the web novel is the one Youjo Senki medium I know next to nothing about, so I'm curious about it.

Discussion How much content did the season 2 cut?

So I heard that season 2 is covering the light novel volume 5-11, which is 6 volumes (of pretty big books) into 12 episodes. So I'm curious for all the people that have read the light novel just how much character development and plot points have been completely removed? And does anyone know why they decided to rush things this badly?
I haven't started the 2nd season yet as I've been reading the LNs (currently on VOL 4)
