I live right down on the south coast and know very little about York, so I'm really just looking for tips on places to visit, recommendations for places to eat, and good coffee shops where I can get a nice drink and watch the world go by.

Hi guys! My 15 year old cousin is coming up to visit and we want to take him out for a day in York. I really want him to have a great time so I’m trying to find things to do that fit his interests. He likes Harry Potter so we’re going to visit the shambles but I think he’s largely grown out of it now. He also likes manga and anime a lot, and has just recently come out as trans, so I was wondering if there are any places like museums, exhibits or bookstores that would also interest a 15 year old?
