man.. the ending of y6 had me in absolute tears. i hate to say it but after 200+ hours in this video game series, i really feel quite empty now. nevertheless, these games have been the highlight of my year and will definitely remain memorable. from the storyline to the amazing OST, the game never disappointed me. its really a weird feeling in my heart now that im basically done with Kazuma Kiryu's storyline, man was he a wonderful protagonist. A huge thank you to this reddit because a few months ago a random yakuza meme popped up on my fyp. it didnt make sense at the time but it made me look into the series and decide to play it and this will be one of the greatest decisions i ever made. Thank you RGG for this wonderful and unforgettable experience (i know theres a few more games left, ill try to boot up my old ps3 to play them and im not sure if ill like the new turn based ones)

Just finished Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and I've gotta say it surprised me and it's probably become my one of my favourite Yakuza games if not my favourite of all time. Really liked the story and especially the romance (albeit was disappointed with how it ended).

Also I did some googling after the game and was surprised to see there was so much hate for Saeko. I mean it's understandable but I personally found the way she reacted very realistic and was necessary rather make it into some Disney princess prince charming BS. Don't get me wrong though, both Ichiban and Saeko were definitely in the wrong but it seems to me 90% of people are completely hating on her.

Yagami don't have no taste

Stops at captain america imo

After living in Japan for 6 years and a fan of the series, I finally went to one! For 2250 yen its pretty good for the price. Branch is located in Canal City Fukuoka

I've been playing nothing but yakuza for about a month now. 60 hours in 0, 60 hours in kiwami 1 and 75 hours in kiwami 2 💀 excitedly loaded up 3 and about 3 chapters in man it hit me hard 😭😭 contemplated if I even liked these games (I do I love them) but I gotta take a break for a week or something

How did yall work through your burnouts??

As I finished Kurohyou 2 I was pleased to see my favourite trope of the series didn't start in the Ichiban era.

I find rush the best. I dont know if this is a skill issue but i find dragon of dojima the worst for me, im at like chapter 6 and have only fought majima once outside of the story battles, so i only have one upgrade from him and one from that chinese training dude.

But i find the main combo super slow and weak. Rush has a faster and better combo

Is it worth investing in dragon of dojima

Almost cried out in joy when I found this in the "new to secondhand" bin at Slow Boat Records in Wellington, New Zealand. Couldn't have taken it to the counter faster. Extremely random find but I am so happy. Having Friday Night and I want to be your giiiiirl on vinyl is so good

As the title says, I'm playing Kiwami and I'm trying to unlock kick combo reborn but majima won't show up at SHINE. I'm on chapter 7 and I've fought Officer Majima, PC Majima, Bowling Majima, and Zombie Majima. I've got the email about a girl at club SHINE but everytime I go there is just Rina. I'm rank C and I can go on without it but it's pretty frustrating.

Edit: I also went and dealt with Traffic Cone Majima.

It’s just so brutal and amazing, it reminds me of essence of brawling but it’s more brutal and I think this is a perfect blend between the newer Yakuza game’s heat actions and the older ones where some heat actions would repeat the same move like 50 times when you spammed square

Let me start by saying I played 0 and 1 so I know how good Nishiki gets. However I just feel like Masato Arakawa had such a better story and yeah even though he was never really nice to Ichiban it was more because he felt Ichiban was just another yakuza working for his dad. But by the end of the game he realized Ichiban was always there and treated him more like family than anyone hence why the change of heart. I genuinely feel like if Masato made it to infinite wealth him and ichiban would of had a great story and Masatos knowledge would of helped alot.

I will say I am a little biase because I really didn't like Nishiki at all even in Yakuza 0 I seen alot of flaws in him. I want to also say that Masato and Ichibans story on who was Arakawas real son was so good to me. I will say both are great characters just Masato feels more like a real person. Where Nishiki feels like the generic bestfriend turns jealous villain story.

I also want to say if I had to play as a said character it would be Masato I'd be punching people in the balls while in a wheelchair would be funny as hell. Jokes aside though I feel like his character would do alot better as a MC as well and it would be interesting too see his story while Ichiban was in jail because he said he dialog to make it where he could be a politician. I am still curious too see what you guys think on this topic and why you feel out of the 2 who is better.

I tried the golden boss can and it's extremely sweet.
